Hi from Boston, MA
HI. I just joined today. I'm thinking about trying out dancing in a club but I don't know much about it? Is there anything anyone can tell me about the clubs in Boston, MA? Any good ones for beginners? Is it true how competitive it is? A guy friend of mine told me that if I stripped in a club that girls would be super competitive and start actual fights with me! Is this true? I'm just looking to (hopefully) dance and make some decent $$. I'm not looking to fight anyone;) My apartment fell through and I only have a few weeks to make some $$ so I don't end up on the streets. I'm glad I found this site.

Re: Hi from Boston, MA
Hey there,
I grew up in Boston and now work in western Mass full time. From what I've heard, Boston itself isn't great. There are only two clubs due to some zoning laws, and neither one is particularly super.
Try Ten's in Salisbury (?), the Foxy Lady in Brockton, or, believe it or not, just about anything in Worcester county with the exception of Fitchburg. I've heard reasonable things from that area.
What's been going on the past week? Everything okay?

Re: Hi from Boston, MA
Welcome to the site, you'll find a lot of helful info here. You can do a search on MA clubs in "Club Chat," since a ton of clubs are discussed there.
Almost my whole dancing career was in MA, and I enjoyed it since most clubs there were no contact and money was pretty decent in some clubs.
I don't think you will have a problem with getting into fights unless you've got serious attitude. As long as you are friendly and just kinda stay out of everyone's business, you should be fine. Is dancing competitive? Sure, but there are lots of hot dancers out there and they all don't get into fights.
Good luck!

Welcome to SW! Ten's in Salisbury is a good place--about 35 minutes north.
Good luck!
