Aww man. You started this thread to late. My latest boo boo just healed. I had a beautiful burn on my arm from the oven. About 3 inches long, 1 inch wide.
Ahh well...I'm sure I'll get more boo boos soon. I'm always nursing something.
I do have to say...that roadrash wound is spectacular.
I love boo boos. That's why I wanna be a wound care nurse.

Wow, that look just like a scene from House of 1,000 Corpses when that cop gets shot in the head.

Re: Not for the Faint of Heart... "War Wounds" thread!
Too bad I don't have a pic. I have a scar going across my left leg from a boating incident in which a wire on the trailer cut deep through my leg.

Over the bars on a streetbike 40mph without a helmet on. Landed head first. Put my left hand out but pretty much went head first. Didn't even get a concussion and it really didn't hurt too bad compared to some of my other ones.

Well..that was dumb.
Same thing happened to my cousin. The handlebars went into his skull.
He died.
Cool boo boo tho.

Good looking out, hope that didn't sound smartass like many of my posts inadvertently do.
Kaylinn very sorry to hear about your cousin.

Evan, as gnarly as your wound looks and as ... not-smart... as your accident was.... you still somehow look extremely hot. it's the eyes.
... ok, fine, you're just hot, period. ;D

I didn't. I never liked helmets, they blocked peripheral vision and hearing too much for me. I wore one only when I had my second of three accidents, and only because it was raining to keep dry, lol.
But the third one I didn't even scratch my head or face. They found pieces of my smashed helmet, which I kept strapped to the side of the bike in case it rained, down over the rail of the bridge, along with one of my boots and my goggles.
However, I was left with this little beauty...
http://www.pixcastle.com/pic/8469irDvg/186082.jpg
...which is what easily clinched the deal I had made with myself after the second one, that I would quit if I survived a third.
It's a rotten, fuzzy photograph (it's pretty hard to take a picture of yourself there, lol) but in person you can still see where they stapled it shut with about 7-8 big ones. The disgusting testicle there, is actually pulled a bit away from it's natural position. This was very close, people.
I still have no clue what the fuck happened, the closest I can figure is that the mirror post on the bike ripped the hole on my way over the car. The car didn't have a figurehead, what else would it be? It was deep, too--they left a drain tube in case there was any problem, but thank god nothing ever came out. Put a curb in my sex life for a few weeks, though...
Compared to that, the severe knee injury, surgery, extensive rehab, and all, was like a scratch--from my perspective at the time, lol!
