Had Rhino and BA done 6 weeks ago ... paranoid
The work is great - can't really complain at all ... except .... I was just wondering one little thing .....
For anyone that has had their breasts done, how long before the somewhat of a numbness feeling went away??
Also, did anyone have one breast more uncomfortable than the other? I'm not in any pain. There is no redness. Nothing whatsoever. But it has been six weeks, and one breast is a bit uncomfortable - not painful - and they are a little bit numb. Does this last long?
I had a lift as well as a small implant put in over the muscle, if that makes any difference as far as answering.
how long before they settle in and start to look "normal?"
:O

I was numb from the nipple down for a few months. Your nerves need time to regrow. Normal is different to everyone. I didn't think mine were normal until 6-8 months after. It can take up to a year for a BA to settle.

It sounds like you are healing well. 4 years after my BA I still have some numbness on the bottom of my boobs. It took like 8 months for my boobs to look like they do now- "normal."

Oh yes, try not to worry. I had mine done in February and I am NOW just starting to get sensation back. ANd yes, my right one felt tigher and hurt more but thats because it was the smaller one. lol

I had mine under the muscle, but I had a similar feeling of numbness and my left was more painful and uncomfortable than my right. Dr. said that's normal since the nerves aren't the same in each breast. The numb feeling for me never truly went away for almost two years. So I guess all I can say is give it some time for the implants to settle.

i can't remember exactly how long it took for them to stop being numb. But once my sensation returned, it is different on each breast. Like one side is uncomfortably sensitive, almost to the point of being painful, while the other side is the same as it was pre-BA.
