Another BA thread
I just had my second consultation with my plastic surgeon, and I'm very excited! I'm getting breast revision surgery (sutures on the sides to push them closer together) and replacement with larger implants, and liposuction in three areas (flanks, lateral thighs, and stomach). For a grand total of $14,000!
I know it's a lot, but it's a great price for this doctor! His name is Dr. Pousti, and he specializes in larger implants. I love the way that he places the implants, they begin in the right place, and go all the way out to the perfect place. (Sorry that might not make sense.) But I had my breasts done previously, and my doctor gave me absolutely no cleavage. I have less natural cleavage now than when I had natural B/C cup, I'm going to go 800 cc's in my left breast, 700 in my right because of my assymetry. I originally wanted to go 1000 cc's, but I think that with the sutures and the few more cc's that I will achieve the look that I want. Oh yeah, and the lipo! Yay!

Re: Another BA thread
Wow you can get sutures on the sides to get them pushed closer together? I want that!
I can't wait to see your before and after pics.

Re: Another BA thread
I HATE my boobs without a super duper push up bra, so I'm rarely caught without one! But here are two pics where you can see my breasts are too far apart..

Re: Another BA thread
Im feelin ya - I have no cleavage either... I have a very narrow chest so I dont need sutures (just bigger implants) but I know the annoyances with thinking youre going to get fake boobies and never have to wear a bra just to have to wear a push bra all the time...

Re: Another BA thread
What kind of implants do you have now?
I'd like to have a little slope myself too, for my next redo. I have plain ol' rounds that give me no cleavage unless I wear something that pushes too. I have no gap now, which is good but need that slope i'm lacking too.

Re: Another BA thread
I have round high profile Mentors. 550 on my right and 650 on my left.

Re: Another BA thread
the only reason you might want to press the issue of 1000cc implants with your Doctor is ...
(snip)"It's OK to make use of your breast assets. Normally, cosmetic surgery is not deductible. However, if you get breast implants, you won't be turned down flat -- as long as they're especially large implants and you can prove you need them for work.
Exotic dancer Cynthia Hess -- better known as "Chesty Love" -- made tax law history in 1994 when she successfully sued the IRS to take a $2,088 deduction on a boob job that left her with a size-56FF chest.
U.S. Tax Court Judge Joan Seitz Pate noted that Hess increased her income as a result of the surgery and that her cumbersome breasts, weighing 10 pounds each, were so large that she could not derive personal benefit from them. Hess had undergone the surgery "all for the purpose of making money" at an Indiana strip club, and the tax court allowed her to deduct the expense as a "stage prop." from
in other words, by getting implants 1000cc or larger, and by working in an industry where a bigger breast size increases earnings potential, you will be allowed to take a dollar for dollar business expense tax deduction for the costs of your breast related plastic surgery.

Re: Another BA thread
Vyanka - I had no idea that round implants would make a difference in cleavage. I like the big fake look and that's what I thought I was going to get with the round high profile Mentors. But oh well, that's what I get for bargain shopping the first time around!
Melonie - yeah I'm still considering going to 1000 cc's. I guess this is a dumb question but I should be able to qualify for that write-off if I get 1000 cc's on only one of my breasts? Because of my assymetry I need 100 cc's difference. So right now I'm considering either
800 and 900
850 and 950
900 and 1000.
I don't know why I put 700 and 800 in my original post. The smallest implants I am considering now is 800 and 900.

Re: Another BA thread
Well for me, since my back is very narrow the plain round implants closed the little gap I had before the implants. But no fluff/slope/cleavage on the top. :( HP's give you that, plus more projection. So i'd stick with that.
From the sound of the sutures, it does sound like it will give you that look you want by pushing the boobs together.
Good luck with the outcome, i'm sure they'll come out lovely. ;)

Re: Another BA thread
I think they look great in the pics. They don't seem too far apart to me, but it's hard to tell from two photos. I know you'll go ahead and get them done, but you are gorgeous the way you are.

Re: Another BA thread
Bump
PrP, How far out is Dr Pousti booking? His name seems to come up a lot (not here).
Also, can you recommend any other area BA doctors?

Re: Another BA thread
I'm not sure about that. I decided to wait on revision :-(

Re: Another BA thread
well they look great now, but I can imagine it's frustrating to wait.

Re: Another BA thread
Well the good thing is that I'm losing weight, so they are looking bigger. ;D
