Anyone had them? Liked em? Hated them to tiny bits? I'm just so tired of my fake lash/mascara routine.

One of my close girl friends just had them done and she said they ruined her eyelashes...She went to go have them removed and the woman who had done them for her just ripped them off like you would a bandaid...
I saw her eyelashes afterward and lemme tell you it didn't look good...
They are great at first, but it becomes very hard to apply your other eye makeup and clean your lashes after.
I had them removed after two weeks because they got bent funny when I slept and got weird "parts" in them.
When I got them removed I lost a lot of natural eyelashes and was told they would thicken and grow back with time. It's been three weeks and I look like a snake unless I put on falsies.
I regret it very much, I'm praying that with time and eyelash conditioning that my naturals grow back to the way they were.
SO NOT WORTH IT!
Is it expensive on top of all that?

K, my mom did this for my eyes a long while back. She did it the expensive way, hand glued with some crazy surgical glue each individual lash. It took a LONG time, and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep.
They lasted for about 4 months, and they looked like my regular lashes, but thicker and darker.
Was it worth it? i dunno. I still wore mascara and stuff to work, but without it people just thought I had really thick lashes. I certainly wouldn't pay $150 to $200 for really thick lashes for 4 months. And when i say 4 months, I mean that they were ALL gone by the end of four months.
I"d save the money and buy a huge stock of falsies and lash glue personally. ;)
I had them recently and they ruined my real eyelashes. Now my real lashes are uneven lengths and are bent!! They look terrible. I got mine done at a cheap place, it was only $28 whereas most places in Melbourne charge about $150 so that might have something to do with it.
I loved having them on but a few had fallen off (you can get ones that fall off replaced) but I decided to just take them off.
I had them and I hated that I couldn't wear a lot of mascara. It was good for an every day look but not for the stripper makeup that I like.
I haven't had them, but a girl I worked with had them done...and they just looked....odd. I dunno. Hers fell out really soon and she said they weren't worth the money and pain in the ass.
I am so glad for this thread I was very highly consdering get it done now i am defintly not. I love sw. :)
yes. thank God for this thread. bump for anyone else who is considering.
Are they like individual false lashes.
