    Default Halloween-related/appropriate music

Sorry if there's already a post about this; I looked around and didn't see one.

I'm trying to put together a mix CD for Halloween and the week or two before. At my club it's pretty much anything goes, and actually the weirder/more obscure/amusing stuff often goes over really well. Can you think of any songs that might be good? I mean there are obvious ones like "Monster Mash". Last year I danced to "Thriller" a lot around Halloween and people seemed to like it. I also danced to some kinda crazy stuff like the "Halloween" (movie) theme song, and that was also a hit. I can't come up with any others though, so far. Any ideas?

There's a cd called "House-O-Ween" I copied from someone years ago that has a few decent cuts. Anything specific you have in mind, genre-wise?

Christany is officially my favorite person for today for posting Jill Tracy. She was suggested to me awhile back on a Tom Waits message board. Good stuff. Cripes, why am I awake?

oh yes, i have been dancing to this for a few weeks now. excellent. however, i highly suggest that you only dance to this if you know the song because of the changes in it, and if it's your style of music.

on the topic of Vampires... Manson's new album has 'If I was your vampire'... it's a bit slow, but not too slow.

I've always thought a lot of DMX's songs had a Hallowe'en-ish sound to them.

How about the classic "spooky girl' (honestly, I'm not sure of the artist)

"fright night", by Elysian Fields', is a totally hot and heavy potentially halloweeny song.

    "Zombie", from the Cranberries

"Dracula's wedding' from outcast ( I LOVE this one!)

Feed My frankenstein' Alice Cooper (not completely sure if that is the proper title)

"Dead Souls" Nine Inch nails (the crow soundtrak)
