    Default Sore Breasts on Antibiotics?

Is it possible for an antibiotic to cause breast soreness?

I have been put on doxycycline by PP. Even since I started it I noticed my breasts, mostly my nipple area, have been incredibly sore. My period doesn't happen until around the 25th, and usually my whole breast is sore if it's from PMS.

    What gives?

Are you on birth control? I'm assuming that since antibiotics cancel out the effect of birth control your breasts would get sore from the hormone change.

Nope, R has a medical condition that makes him sterile basically, so no BC needed.

I get this sometimes randomly for no apparent reason. When I tell people about it they always say to take a pregnancy test, but so far that hasn't been the case ever. Never have figured out what causes it!
