It seems kind of complex. You can lose weight just by scaling down portion sizes. I'd be wary of plans that claim you can lose ___ amount of weight in ___ amount of time.

hmm well i agree with eating a lot of fruits and vegetables everyday.

if you mix whey or soy protein in water it will taste like crap, mix it in soy/rice/almond milk.

im not sure if i agree about the drinking ice cold water part. heat increases reactions and movements of particles while cold slows them down, meaning your food wont digest as well. Raw food people say all water you drink should be at room temperature, and ive eaten at vegan restaurants in santa monica that wont serve ice in their water.

20 pounds is extreme for any diet. This one seems put together okay, but it's basically a bunch of "duh" concepts with a poundage gimmick.

DO you need to lose 20 pounds. I don't see how this site can claim that when it has no idea how much you weigh at the start.

It seems like it's designed to sell products (the whey protien, the green tea).

    Ice water slows down digestion.

Of course you'll lose weight if you power walk 20-30 minutes a day.

Cold water may slow down digestion (i don't know) but when you srink it it raises your metabloism because your body has to have it at it's own temp before it can properly digest it. That's probably why it slows down digestion, but still it's a good trick.

That makes sense. I just don't think it's a good idea to use 'tricks" to raise one's metabolism, when they could just as easily workout or take walks and raise it that way.

Sorry, guys, all that stuff about cold water raising your metabolism is crap.

My science teacher helped me figure it out in high school, and you would have to drink at least 35 gallons of ice water to make a difference in weight loss, and by that time you'd be dead from water poisoning.

Most of those are good tips, minus the water one which as zxcire said is bogus. Still a good idea to drink water though.

However, I always find it really annoying when they say WHAT amount of weight you can lose doing this and that. If an 80 lb anorexic tries that, she's not going to lose 20 lbs. In fact she'll probably gain.

Anyway, sounds better than a lot of other stupid things out there.

I don't know if I could eat that many raw veggies and fruits every day... so if I were to do the diet I would probably allow myself to eat them cooked too. But if you love raw veggies and fruit that much, go for it.

If the avatar is your ass then you don't look bad at all. The diet actually looks like a decent plan.

This is true too. You'll have to change your lifestyle and eatting habits or you will gain the weight back fast.

Yeah that my booty, lol, but I've gained 15lbs cuz I haven't been dancing for over 2 months. And wanting to get back to it, but would not be caught dead in a strip club with this extra weight on me.
