Default Can you teach an old dog new tricks?

I would like to burn some cds. Where do I get started. I see I can buy songs from napster. But none of the posts I pulled up said where to get the program to do it. I am using a compaq presario notebook. I don't even know if I already have the equipment.
    Thanks.

If I can do this anyone can! I use Limewire, no charge! Just go to Limewire.com and they'll walk you through it.

For starters, you'll need to determine if your drive is a CD/DVD-R or RW. You need an RW-type drive. You can find out by double-clicking your My Computer desktop icon. It should say CD-RW (or DVD-RW). If not, you won't be able to burn anything.

You can pick up external burners pretty cheap these days though, if your computer doesn't have one.

    Limewire FTW!

I use Nero for burning. It's a very easy program to use.
