I make more money the week or few days before I get my period, and I notice a huge difference in the amount of guys that are attracted to me at that time, it's crazy. When I am actually on my period, I do average or stay home.

I do really well around ovulation, about normal during my period, and horriblely for the week after. Sometimes there seems to be a little bump during menstruation as well, but it's not predictable.
Maybe it has something to do with what mood customers are in, as well. Around ovulation, your levels of estrogen (the fuck-me hormone) spike in an effort to get you to mate during your window of fertility. Estrogen peters out over the next couple of weeks, and is increasingly replaced with progesterone -- a hormone that can make you maternal, docile, and cuddly. The exact cycle varies with the individual, of course.
I'm not sure if, or how, sex-hormone production effects pheremone production, but I imagine it'd be related, so as to send out signals about the phase of your cycle and your present level of fertility.
My theory is that most customers are subconciously looking for the most fertile dancer and will be drawn to a girl with a pheremone signature indicating high levels of estrogen. Occasionally, though, a customer is looking for a dancer to cuddle and be nice to him, and may actually be drawn to a dancer with higher progesterone levels.

Always less but that likely because I find a way to outdo my normally bitchy self:-) Otherwise I realy dont think there is a difference.
I make more because I'm still my chatty bitchy self, and I still sell VIPs, but I don't push for lap dances or vibrator shows. So of course when I'm not pushing for any extra for a tip they start asking me what I could do for them, and I usually end up charging like twice as much for a lap dance because I really don't feel like doing any when I'm on my period. Just acting disinterested in selling dances doesn't work for me, but genuinely not being interested seems to make them ask for it.

same here. My money's been shit lately, but the one night last week that I went in looking AWFUL....is the one night I made some money. And the club wasn't packed--it was slow as balls that night. I hadn't showered in days b/c they turned off my water to do repairs on the street...I forgot my whole makeup bag, had no clean thongs so had to wear a dirty one (ew!) and all I had in my bag was one dress and an old ugly pair of shoes. And I didn't ask for a single dance all night; guys were coming up to me all night asking me for dances. And this happens pretty much every time I go into work looking like unwashed un-made-up shit. Weird!

^^Me too! I think we've stumbled upon the REAL Secret.

if i'm having particularly bad cramps and feel like shit, then i'll make less. but usually i make more money on my period because i'm horny!!!

The only thing that I am wondering now, is do all the regular dancers in a club have the same pattern. Have you ever noticed that girls that work with, or are around each other most of the time- always end up being on the same menstrual schedule? I have even noticed at my day job( an office job ), the tampon/pad disposal in the washroom stalls gets fuller at the same time of the month as me.
Also, I lived with 6 girls a few years ago(what a nightmare-lol), and we were on the same schedule too.![]()

Never actually kept track of my earnings in relation to my period so I have no numbers to back it up with. However, I do notice that guys not only respond positively to me when I'm on my period. but they're fucking downright enthusiastic about getting a dance/talking to me etc. Seems like everyone wants me when I'm bleeding. But hey, I can't complain. I hate bleeding/cramping, but know it'll be a few easy nights at work.

I made $500+ last night. I'm menstruating, and thats the best I've done in a few weeks. So I'm going to say it was either luck or my dot!

I just read about this in The Age, Good Weekend magazine, a Melbourne weekend newspaper.
Apparently, there has been a study done by the University of New Mexico as to whether or not the earnings of lap dancers increase in line with their fertility during their menstrual cycle.
The study involved 18 lap dancers keeping a daily tally of their earnings over a 60 day period, whilst recording the stage of their menstrual cycles there were in and whether or not they were on the Pill.
The results of the study showed that the effects of normal cycling (non-pill using) dancers rose to $US350 a shift around the time they ovulated and were at their most fertile. Then, as they approached menstruation and their fertility fell, their earning declined to a baseline of $US200 a shift. The Pill users by comparison averaged a flat rate of $US200 a shift throughout their cycle.
The researchers found that because the both the Pill users and the non-Pill users earned roughly the same amount at the beginning and the end of their cycles, the effect in earnings was not due to an overall difference in attractiveness. Instead the results indicated that men subconsciously can detect when women are at their most fertile and judge them to be more attractive, therefore more worthy of attention and larger tips.
So it's interesting that it's not when you are actually menstruating that you are supposed to make more, but when you ovulate![]()
