I set up a spreadsheet in my PDA for this, but ended up not using it. Still, I think it'd be interesting/useful(?) to have a record of my workouts.
Do you keep a workout journal?

I do use one that has my measurements, weight, food intake and calories burned. I don't keep track of my reps or what machines I used or anything like that. I just love to be able to look back at where I started and see how much i've changed. Also Some times it gives me motivation to keep on track because I can look back a few days and think "Look Joplin, you worked out this much and ate this good that day, lets do it again!"

I used to, when I first took on running as part of a 'toning and tightening up' regime. But not so much anymore because my weekly mileage average is pretty much consistent.
CalorieKing is great workout journal to use because it calculates calories burnt with exercise, etc.

Indeed it is.

I've not kept a workout journal per se, but I'll mark down the days on my calendar that i went to the gym with a simple "gym."
At one point, I kept a food journal. That was very interesting to see my eating habits mapped out on a page. I realized how little veggie servings I was getting in my diet, and that my carbs were off the charts. So that definitely gave me some feedback to help rebalance that and also provided somewhat of a rough sketch plan to follow.
A nutrition course I took for school also included a software package with the textbook that would calculate your nutrient intake based on your input for specific foods, serving amounts, etc... I should bust that back out and start doing that again, that was very helpful to see where certain nutrients are lacking or excessive even.
Yes I have one - I bought i at Target... its the best. Good for 3 months - has spots for food intake and work out.. i REALLY like it and it was only like $8 or something.
Its called a training diary by Go Fit.

Mental notes only for me.

i did. i should start again now that i'm starting to genuinely try to get myself back in shape.
I have a weekly calendar that I jot down my miles jogged every day ...it just helps make me feel guilty if I skip a day.....and I always force myself to put the reason I skipped so I can see my bad habits that get in the way of exercise!!!
