Default I love my Princess Toadstool hairdryer!!

My husband's grandparents recently downsized and got rid of lots of stuff and I snagged one of those old bonnet hair dryers. My husband says I look like princess toadstool when I wear it, thus the subject line.

I LOVE it! It's so awesome to put on a color treatment or color remover or deep conditioning packet and slip on my bonnet for 20 minutes. Makes it feel like a real salon experience. Plus it makes me like a 1950s housewife--except it's duct taped. So, like a trailer park 1950s housewife.

Anyway, I recommend everyone get one.

That's a hilarious pic! A friend of mine got 3 of the oldschool chair ones, with the flip down helmets. So far he only got one of them to work, though.

Woah! "Pretty" is not how I would describe either of those faces, but thank you very much! This was kinda the opposite of pic-whoring for me. Like, "look how insanely homely a decent looking stripper can look!" Luckily I clean up alright

Ditto to what Corgan said. You're not wearing foundation there? Jesus, you're beautiful.
"She held me close and whispered in my ear how wonderful I was. Since I'm not wonderful. I was pretty sure this was a trap. So I figured I'd better grope her as much as I could before they sprung the trap. You've got to take what you can get in this life. I read that in a magazine. So I started smearing kisses on her and pawing the front of her dress, trying to get my money's worth before somebody bashed my head in." John Swartzwelder

Those are the BEST. I have a portable hood dryer (old skool - probably 30 years old) and I set it on the table but what you have is great. if you put velcro curlers in your hair - put that on and it will set the curls...

^^^Yep! I use it for that, too. My old club would crack up when I'd roll up in there with velcro rollers already in my hair and plop down at the DR counter and throw on my ol' lady bonnet. New girls would always be like, "WTF?" and whisper about the crazy bitch. And the old girls were like, "Oh, yeah...That's ____. She's a crazy bitch."

And I loved it. For some reason people are less apt to fuck with you when you wear 3 inch velcro rollers in public. Something inside them must say, "You know, I'm just not gonna chance it with this one."

I found one at a thrift store last week!! I almost bought it, but my husband (who is incredibly amused by my obsession with these) was like, "Um...you have one."

You want me to go see if it's still there?! I'll totally buy it for you!

^^ Theyre actually good for curly hair - better than using a regular blowdryer because it doesnt blow the hair all over the place thus making it frizzy. Its like speed air drying.

My Dad still uses one of those, lol!

He has to comb and "set" his wave, then sit under the dryer to finish it, lol!

I just looked and they still make em!
