Default well, i learned not to wash stuffed animals in the washer...

... if i don't make sure the zipper is shut!

the 3 yr old my bf nannies was here today, and she was sick. so, of course we laid her out on a pallette and set her up with disney movies all night. when she left, i was determined to wash the stuff she was all over, i don't need to be sick! so, in the washer went the blankets she used, pillowcases she used, and her stuffed animal we gave her when she was a year old. i thought everything was cool...

then my bf calls me into the kitchen/washroom area. he told me i shouldn't have washed the duck...

there was stuffing all over everything.

i have to rewash and dry everything.

i'm sure you mommies and caretakers have these lessons learned as well.

My mother always taught me to wash stuffed animals in a tied up pillowcase!
"She held me close and whispered in my ear how wonderful I was. Since I'm not wonderful. I was pretty sure this was a trap. So I figured I'd better grope her as much as I could before they sprung the trap. You've got to take what you can get in this life. I read that in a magazine. So I started smearing kisses on her and pawing the front of her dress, trying to get my money's worth before somebody bashed my head in." John Swartzwelder

I think it is adorable that Danuel is a badass musician-nanny. You two remind me of us two.
