    Default Do you tell people...

I am the type of person that if I see something wrong I will tell you, at least if it's clothes wise. I went to the mall the other day right and I was walking with Bri and the kids and there were these two girls sitting and I noticed that the girl with the short skirt you could see her panties so I told Bri to walk ahead with the kids and went to the girl and said "excuse me mamita ( I noticed they were Spanish and asked) do you speak English?" and they said "yeah" (I had also over heard them speak Spanish so that is why I asked) any who I said "Oh well hon, I'm sorry to bother you but just wanted to let you know your undies are showing" and with a inexpressive face she said "yeah" like "I don't care" and I said "oh ok then just wanted to let you know" and smiled and walked away but she never corrected her sitting so I assume she wanted her cooch to show but then thought as I walked by "why give it for free, she should get money to show it off"

the girls were 18 or so so they weren't little girls but my question is do you tell people? if something shows do you like it when people approach you and let you know, should I mind my own damn business? I blame all the celebrities showing cooch these days lol

If they seem to be older like 18 for example...i think i would be wasting my time.

Small children for sure! Older people man or woman yes. I think it's proper to tell them quietly. Many will thank you for it, i would! Many are gonna be jerks and feel insulted. It's a chance we take.

I don't just because so many times I've been sitting down and my thongs poking out a little and some lady will tell me, but its always in a rude, condesending manner. I've never, ever heard anyone say something like that to me in a nice way. I'd appreciate it if I was that girl and somebody like you told me in a nice manner, but it always seems to be bitches that do it.

I tell people, but always quietly. They usually really appreciate it. But my voice is kind of syrup-y when I say it, so I think that helps.

    Nope.

I figure it's none of my business, and it might hurt their feelings over something that doesn't really bother me or effect me significantly to begin with.

I usually forget that certain things showing is actually considered bad in most of society. It doesn't cross my mind to think that something personal of somebody else's is embarrassing so i forget or don't even notice it most of the time. i am desensitized.

I tell people sometimes, I just prepare myself if they're not accepting of what I'm telling them.

I was wearing a white tube dress. All day I had running around to do. When I got home, I checked my mail. This little old woman at the mailboxes sad to me, " Hon, you have black all over the back of your dress"
I looked, and yeah...I had black dirt all over the back of my dress.
I wish somene would have told me sooner.

Yea, I did the same thing a few weeks ago. This girl (around 15-16yrs old) got on the bus, and her ass was so phat the back of her skirt was super high. I could almost see her butt cheeks!

Anyway, she ended up sitting behind me on the bus. I quietly informed her that her skirt was so high her ass was hanging out, and that maybe she should pull her skirt down some so no one looks up her skirt. She looked at me expressionless and was like, "oh ok" And didn't move..pissed me off lil fast ass girl

    *ck grumbles*

Yeah me too. One old lady in a bar in St Augustine told me all bitchy that my undies were showing. I said yes I know thank you(I had low rise jeans and was purposefully sitting with my back away from the general public). Then she said all bitchy that SHE would never let people get a glimpse of her "down there hair"

I told her 1) nobody wants to see anything you have you old fat bitter bitch and 2) I dont know about YOU, but I dont have hair on MY ass to show to anyone...maybe a visit with a waxer would be inher best interest if she has enough ass hair to poke out of her jeans.

    Bitch

If its someonthing like that..no I sdont say anything. If someon has dirt or something OBVIOUSLY not intended...I might depending on the situation.

I guess it depends on the situation... I try and tell people when I see something askew. I know I would appreciate it. And I think too often we all go about our day in our own little world, forgetting that there are a million other people in their own worlds. Makes for a very lonely, crowded place.

And once you get comfortable like that, then when someone does reach out and connect with you, it seems weird. Which to me, the fact that it seems weird is what IS weird. If that made any sense at all.
This all seems very deep and anallytical, and I swear, I'm not stoned...but I think about stuff like this all the time. Stuff like this, to me anyway, seems like a very little piece of a bigger problem in our culture.

K...going to stop now...maybe I need more coffee.....

    ^Hehe, I'm a dork.
That one insurance commercial where people sit and watch another person help someone out, then later on they go and help someone else out, and then that person goes on, etc.... that commercial always makes me all sappy.

Personally, I would leave the undie/bra comments alone, unless it was something that was very obviously unintentional--like a skirt tucked into pantyhose or a blouse that has fallen open to expose boobage. Otherwise, I think I may come off as judgemental or condescending. Plus, I really don't care what other people are showing, unless it's very obvious that they didn't mean to.

If someone's tag is hanging out of their shirt, I'm the first to tell them (and usually tuck it back in, too!). I mean, who intentionally runs around with their tag out?

It completely drives me INSANE when I'm standing in line behind someone and their tag is sticking out of their shirt. It absolutely makes me crazy...that's the only time I'll ever say something to someone about their clothes Lol!

EDIT: I just read that someone else said that too! lol, Guess I'm not the only one!

I take it on a case by case basis. Stuff like underwear popping out or short skirts on young girl, nah. I know they're trying to be sexy and won't listen anyways.

Exotic Engineer you are so right about the situation thing..Today I'm at the mall, I'd just left Jamba Juice en route to the potty and I see this tall chubby obviously gay dude with his fly completely open..I was like "okay"..I was trying to decide what to do and then as I got closer, I heard him "uuuhhh biiiitttccchhhh" to his female friend..I thought shit let her tell him..I've had enough drama with flamers to last me for the rest of the year. I don't want another one to attack me for trying to help them..So, I continued to drink my o.j and walked down to the ladies room.

Doesn't sound like she has much class... Maybe I am sounding a bit hypocritical here being that I did dance but I didn't show my shit out in public. On that note, I was at a MIDDLE school football game a few years ago and 11 year old girls were wearing low rise jeans with their thongs coming up out of the top. I am sure some ho in Hollywood was doing that shit and that's what started it. Now we've got Paris showing her pussy so everyone else has to now ,geezzz.. What's next..

Agreed. Best to mind ones own business. It's something that could get you punched square in the nose.

If it is some unintentional thing, then I'll discreetly mention it. If it's likely to be a conscious choice, I'll stay quiet.

I mean, I wear low-rise jeans all the time, normally low rise thongs underneath. So, I try not to sit where there will be people behind me. I don't need someone telling me they can see my underwear. I'm not going to tell a girl in a 6 inch mini skirt I can see her ass. She knows her butt is hanging out the back of her little skirt.

Toilet paper stuck to the shoes, skirt bunched up in back, etc. I would want to know, so I tell people.
