    Default Just Baltimore, or everywhere?

Things have been slow in B'more. Ridiculously slow, where Friday and Saturday are worse than a week day. Is it like this everywhere? If not, any advice on where I can go? I don't want to leave my B'more club permanently, just need to eat. Based out of VA.

    Thanks!

that's funny...well not funny that you're having a bad time, but b/c I just left Philly and went back to Baltimore b/c it's so ridiculously slow and dead up there. Stick it out for a little while longer...and try coming in on a Sunday or Monday night. They might seem like unlikely money nights, but they've been good lately there.

oops, I just read the part about you living in VA. Have you tried anything in DC?

I'm trying to get into DC right now, at the only decent place. The guy I just called to talk to isn't in yet.

I usually keep Sunday and Monday as my days off. Maybe I'll have to switch it up next week.

Yup. I can vouch for this.

It's been a super slow week for us at gold club. Hopefully tomorrow will make up for it.

Big property tax increases just announced ... record high heating oil prices ... investment bank subprime losses putting a damper on PHLX activity ... real estate market starting to tank ... steel and other industries continue to outsource ...

D.C. has a lot better odds of escaping these economic pressures because a good portion of the club customer pool draws paychecks financed by the US taxpayer that aren't subject to economic downturns !!!

Yep, there is no money in DC. My worst nights in bmore are usually double what I make on a good night in DC.

Thanks for all the interest and replies, girls.
Slight detour, since you are all here.
I just got hired in DC last night, which took a LOT of effort, and I'm already not sure I like it. They put me on nights only, I wanted days, and two are nights that I told them I couldn't work without some sort of prior arrangement. Also, four nights for my first week!
There are a TON of rules, no Brazilian wax, only bikini; show up with makeup on, etc. And they want me to show up for my shift a full hour early, just to get a spot in the rotation--girls that are later may only go up for double dances.
I can live with most of this, but they're also telling me I'm not allowed to work in B'more if I work for them. It seems like I'm an employee in DC, where I'm an independent contractor in B'more, and I'm not sure how to reconcile that if I do work both clubs.
    Help!

Yeah, Camelot has wonky rules. I'm sorry I can't be of any real help but I heard the money is worth all the rules and stuff.

That's kind of funny, since every other comment about DC has been how there isn't any money there. I'll see how it goes. It might be worth it to just work there.
I'm thinking about asking them to hire me as an IC, not an employee, and give the reason that I have other IC, non-stripper work. Which I do. Just not a lot of it.
