Okay, well, I just looked up sleep paralysis and it actually does exist,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis . I honestly never heard of it before. That sounds awful though. Ketamine is a drug that has been used many years to put people/animals to sleep during surgery. I have heard of people waking up during surgery and being completely aware of what was going on but not able to do anything about it. Ketamine is sold on the street now. I have also heard and know of people doing all sorts of things while on Ambien and supposely asleep then not knowing what they did the next day. Mushrooms and some forms of LSD can make people feel like they're in a trance/dreaming state as well.
It sounds awful just the same. I'd seek treatment and not take any sleeping meds till I received treatment.
