    Default donating items.

i have quite a few things i no longer want. clothes, food, makeup, body care, kitchen shit, you name it.

i got all my non perishable foods ready (a contractor bag full) to donate to a thanksgiving food drive this year. so that's taken care of!

i have a question about my beauty items really. i know i can take my other items to goodwill. they are not all brand new, but no less than half full. some brand name, some not. will goodwill or a women's shelter take used body care and makeup? i was going to post the items for free on a local site, but i know someone greedy would take them and they wouldn't go to someone who really would love the items the way i wish i did. at least at goodwill they will be sold (for dirt cheap none the less) and the proceeds would help someone who needs it more than i.

We have a big Goodwill place nearby, and I don't think I have ever seen any makeup/beauty supplies. I'm sure a woman's shelter or something might take it, though.
waffles are just pancakes with little squares on them.

The woman's shelter close to me has a program set up so that a women will get a nice suit or dress, make-up, and shoes to make the best impression on an interview! Try to find one of those.

i don't even know if i have a women's shelter close to me. just salvation army. is that the same? i can donate some brand new items to the rape & crisis center (my mom used to work there, and when she got calls to meet rape victims they brought them fresh toiletries to shower with, and brand new sweatsuits to change into) but i don't think i have anything else around here.
