    Default Portable Makeup Station

So my mom calls telling me I HAVE to get this if Im going to be a freelance hair stylist/MUA. Its really neat!

Im worried that its a bit expensive. For those who do modeling, etc do you think this is a good idea? Does it look professional?

How much is it? the site doesn't display the price. It looks pretty damn cool, though, especially if you're shooting somewhere without any amenities -- warehouse, public places, etc.

$450 - which is a bit expensive BUT it holds makeup so id save on buying a train case...

I think it's definatly worth it, but pack extra bulbs, they break easy.

Is it big enough? It looks very small compred to some of the cases Ive seen make-up artists use. The compartments dont look like theyre the right size to hold bigger items like hair spray for instance though its hard to tell from the pic. Maybe shop around and see what else there is?

Edited to add - a ouple of my friends use this type of stackable thing

It's cool looking but it doesn't look like good lighting. I'd rather see my MUA have a good collection of products than a case with some bulbs.

Show up with this thing loaded and I'll be impressed.

Its pretty big - the measurments are on the site - I will also need a multi compartment train case.... like the ones posted. That thing just doent look like it holds much when I look again. Sometimes when you go to shoots whatever the lighting is crap and this may help. I just hate ordering stuff from the internet because you just never know.
