I got the entire Haloween series, children of the corn,
all the jason and freedie movies, silence of the lambs, psycho...

What is your favorite/scariest haloween movie?

I love the halloween movies( michael myers)
Children of the corn and pet cemetary scare the crap out of me

And you gotta love steven king's It.

I'm not a fan of the horror genre, but I did really like Stephen King's "Misery" (the movie and the book). And "The Others" was pretty good the first time, but once you know the twist it's not as good the second time. Pretty much all Stephen King stories are good, but "Misery" was the best movie, I think... Kathy Bates gives me the willys in that!

Without a doubt, Saw is on the top of my list. The first especially.

I don't know... I seem to becoming increasingly not-cool with movies about people being tortured, so ah, yea... I guess I'll pass on the horror and torture flicks this year.

    The Bridges of Madison County.
"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

The Devils Rejects! Its not really scary, but I've never seen a horror movie that actually scared me, I'm more into the gore

    Some others:
The Hills Have Eyes (both the new and old)
Evil Dead (2nd one is the best!)
    Reanimator
    Night of the Living Dead
    Saw

Hills Have Eyes was so scary!
    Saw
House on Haunted Hill (the original b&w)
    Texas Chainsaw Massacre

And this isn't a horror movie, but it was on tv the other day HOCUS POCUS. A Halloween movie I loved as a kid, and it's still great!!

    ohh...Blair Witch.
I knew going into the movie it wasn't real...but after watchign it, i wasn't so sure.
So I search the internet for the site that says it was just a movie not based on actual events. But all I found was pictures from the actual "crime scene" pictures of the abandoned car...
Freaked me out good. Espicially cause I lived in the woods and my mom told me that devil worshipers went in thoes woods and had sacrifices and stuff.

So many good spook movies I forgot about. I love scary movies.

This reminds me of the classic line from Scream:

    "What's your favorite scary movie"?

    "SHOWGIRLS"

And my fave, BTW, is The Ring.

What about the line from the first Scary Movie?

Killer- "What's your favorite Scary Movie?"

Carmen Electra - "Oh... Kazaam! You know, the one where Shaq plays the genie!?"

Same here, no one seems to make ghost stories anymore.

The Others is my all time favourite movie, I think its so moving.

Mind you, I do like the original Texas Chainsaw. But thats more uber cool than violent.

The Ring scared that crap out me when I saw it, which was awesome as I dont get scared usualy.

All the latest `horrors` like Saw, Hills, ect are pathetic torture fests. If you want to do violence you have to twin it with the same amount of cool, ask Rob Zombie.
