    Default Dress Code Nuances/ Restrictions

Taking cust. & dancer input here....

We all know that stripclub "dress codes" for patrons aren't very rigorous- I'm hard pressed to recall a single stripclub that requires coat & tie. The main caveat I've seen is "no shirt, no shoes, no service". In short, if you have a pulse, and $$, you're in.

However, I've occasionally run across "regular" clubs that although not (prominently) posted, turn away people wearing running shoes , or leather jackets(I'm not talkin' one full of skullbone patches, I mean a good plain 1 that you can get @ good dept store/mail order).

I don't have an issue w. #1(thank you, Rockport). Still silly, considering a good Nike goes for more $$ than several "dress shoes".#2 is getting to be that time of yr. where "frost is on the pumpkin", good leather jacket preferred option.
Does your club have either restriction/ or have you encountered any stripclub that does?? Would like to know before I pack for trip>>>

The majority of the clubs in my area stick to the business-casual model during weeknights. On the weekends the dress code is more relaxed.

I'd stay away from hats and sneakers though.

I think there might be some unspoken rules as well.

Like - don't pack your sweatpants (unless you want to upset the dancers).

My favorite club recently put up a customer dress code sign that basically reads "pull up your pants and turn the bill of your hat forward".

I'm there mostly days/early evenings, but the few times I was there at night the young kids with their Mr. T starter kit jewelry were a hassle.
