A few lucky women are blessed with not having to put up with the pain that comes along with having their period, and some have to deal with the excruciating pain that accompanies it, whether before, during or after period.
Some deal with the pain temporarily with or without anesthesia, and some have to deal with the pain as few as 2 days or throughout their period.
Some bleed only once, some bleed for 3-6 days and some might bleed for a week straight....painful...whomever said its easy been a woman, lied.
Whats your period like?
When I started having my period, it was the most painful experience but the cramps part would last up to 8-12 hours. my period lasts for 5 days. the first day i would bleed the heaviest and the first half of the day comes with the most excruciating cramps. I take midol to numb the pain, which works really well. If I don't take midol, the cramps are crippling. i'll get nausea, and tremendous cramps and wouldn't be able to move. i'll just lay in bed bearing the pain. I even tried one time to get off the midol to see how much pain there is after a longtime. it hurt so much that i passed out. i've never passed out before. my body had gotten so used to the modol. i passed out for like almost 5 hours, and the next time i woke up, i couldn't even remember what happened. all i remembered was i was in laying down in tremendous fluctuating pain and then i blacked out...thats what i call "sheding yourself"
i'll get lower back aches which would last for almost the rest of the period. I only bleed heavily on the first 2 days. after that its not as heavy.

Funny, my hormones stay even though. It's as if my body's been reset or something.
I had a uterus suspension in which they positioned my uterus forward. Theoritically the pressure from the endometriosis can also cause the uterus to move. I had a lot of back cramping before the surgery. I hardly have any now.
