Default spa day - what would you love?

Okay. I'm giving myself a free day - no baby, no working, nothing. I should really, clean the bathroom...but I may be able to put that off a little longer. I'm also in a total rut, looks-wise. I got my hair dyed the other day, but I need more. What should I do?

I'm going to hit the tanning salon, get a manicure and maybe a brow wax. That's all I can think of. Any other suggestions? I'm open to anything. I need change!

I love a body scrub. Something about having my entire body vigorously exfoliated makes me feel so fresh and lovely for several days afterward.

Oh, and a good face mask. At my Korean spa, I spend most of the day soaking and steaming in different hot tubs, pools, steam rooms, saunas, etc. I drink a ton of the free barley tea and cold water. At the end, I get a full-body exfoliation that comes with a warm milk bath, Bumble & Bumble shampoo and conditioning for my hair, and a rose face mask. When it's all done I feel like a newborn, my skin feels like a baby's, and my face looks ten years younger.

Now that I think of it, I should do that before I leave town this weekend. More motivation to go to work tonight...!

Well, I ended up only doing what I'd initially thought. So nothing ultra relaxing. But it was still nice.

I am def. going to book myself some luxury spa time. I've never had a full body scrub, that sounds so fantastic.

I'd really love to get my hair professionally styled and my makeup done before work someday. I'm sure I'd feel so hot.

$70-100, depending on what I get. And I can spend the whole damn day there if I want to. If you just want to get in with no services, just the spa itself, it's $15 and you can still stay all day. I phrickin LOVE this place.

    Yekhefah-
Where in L.A. is this spa and what is it called? That is a very good deal.

. It's in Koreatown. Women only, bathhouse style (everyone hangs around naked or in little robes, no shoes or clothes allowed in the spa area), mostly elderly Korean ladies.

They are. They really, really, really are.

If you want to splurge, I recommend the Pure Bliss treatment. It's aptly named and only $100 plus tip.

I LOOOVE the elbows deep in the shoulder blades too. I always request one of those type of massages right before going to bed. My S.O. hates it, haha.

It's not the same as getting it done professionally, but it puts me right to sleep. I can just feel myself melting away!

This rocks!!!! The prices are fair and I feel more comfortable in a women only spa environment. Thanks, Yek.
