Default How much to go away?!

I know theres threads about being sent away and being pissed, etc but this is a little different.

So Friday night my friend and I saw this guy and were working him - hard. He hands each of us $40 and says he really doesnt want dances and theres a sad story behind it (which he wouldnt tell us). We keep working and he hands us another $100 each to 'go away'. He was very nice, had money just didnt want dances... but damn I then got called to stage and she sold the VIP (only 15 min, ok with me) I worked him for maybe 5 minutes all together. She, obviously longer.... I was damn happy with it, not upset at all.

How much is the most youve been paid to "go away"?

I remember a guy giving me a $100 bill to "come back later" and I walked away for like a minute and then was like...."fuck this. I'm going back!" I brought friends with me for his friends, and I didn't leave until he did. I think over the course of the night I got like $900 from him in just tips for talking.

I don't understand the concept of giving nice tips to go away. I'm glad they do though, of course.

When I get paid to go away, unless it's just a single pity dollar, I stay and make a sale. They've got money, and I'm here to play therapist/girlfriend/stripper so why not get into it and make my money? I've never had a problem from staying to work him into VIP or whatever, it usually turns into a guy being incredibly generous and thanking me for being there for him.

$20 (which started the ever-popular "what's the jerkiest thing a customer has said to you?" thread.

it wasn't a pity tip at all. it was very mean.

Was having a nice conversation,or so I thought then out of the blue, customer gives me ten dollars.I said oh ok you want me to dance for you he said no,just leave me alone. ! I figured out later that it must have been an age issue, even though he was a troll atleast 20 years older than me. I noticed he'd had a few of the younger girls dance for him. Atleast I got a tip but it still hurt my feelings.

I wonder what his problem was? Hey who cares at least you got $$ from it!
That hasn't happened to me yet but I wish it would. I deserve some dough for the nasty turn downs I've had. Lately, if a guy wastes my time by calling me over just to "see my tatts" (or some other stupid question) or if I spend a song talking all to get turned down, I'll lift up my skirt or whatever and ask for a tip. I've been making an extra 20 bucks or so a shift (hey not much but that's like a tank of gas!)

    $100.
A guy was sitting towards the back of the bar and I went to go chat him up...he said "I just want to be left alone, thank you."

Me:"You came to a titty bar to be left alone? I would have though a library or maybe a cemetary would have worked out better for that."

Him:"Cute, no really...I just want to be alone. You're very attractive, and I'm sure you dance great, but I'm not in the mood."

Me:"It seems you must have have wanted to get in the mood deep down, because...well, here you are!"

    Him:"I guess."

Me:"Besides, all this talking, you could have had five or six dances from wonderful me by now!"

*Hands me a $100 bill* "Let's pretend I did." I said thank you, asked him one last time if he wanted company then scooted off.

$2000, This guy got a vip with me and 2 other girls and gave us all $2000 each and asked me and another girl to give him some alone time with his favorite girl. This was right in the first 5 min of getting up there and I just went bk downstairs and worked like normal, never went back and neither did the other girl.

what a waste of 4 grand! (for him anyway. awesome for you!)

Last time I worked I had just started dancing for a custie (like 5 seconds max), he asked if he could touch and I said no, and he handed me $20 and said thanks, thats enough.
    Cool with me!

Oh I've had that happen several times! A customer buys a VIP, usually a short one (10-15 minutes), I take my coat/hoodie/whatever I'm wearing because it's cold off... He spots my tattoos, says that's quite enough thank you, and walks out! I've also had a few guys walk out because I wouldn't jerk them off or blow them, whatever. Luckily nobody's ever asked for a refund, and I much prefer them walking out leaving me with the money than just sitting through the VIP looking very uncomfortable.

I've never gotten paid for going away, unfortunately. A few times me and another girl have shared a customer and they have made it very clear to me that while they enjoy both of our company they only want to take me to the VIP. In that case I always ask them to leave a tip of half the VIP room cost (the girl going in only gets half of the cost anyway) to the dancer left behind. It's fair enough because even if the VIP costs more for him we both end up making the same amount of money, well in principle, because you often get tipped for the VIP. I always make sure they give the money to the other dancer very discretely and make sure they don't make it seem like a pity tip but rather a generous gesture in the case of "I like you both but since I only want one VIP."

I've never had it happen. I've had jerks pretty much tell me to go away (not in so many words but made it obvious) but unfortunately they didn't hand over any $$$$

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

WTF? They just walk out? Ive never had a guy just walk out of VIP... you have weird men in your club. That would be great tho - I get paid to do nothing... SWEET.

This happens mostly during daytime when there's only one dancer. If I'm wearing a long coat or a faux fur jacket you can't see that my arms are tattooed, and I find the daytime audience is very much for a traditional look. They're also total gimps socially. So yea, they just walk out. Also sometimes when they say they'll pay the VIP price and nothing more, and I give them a dance worth the VIP price and nothing more (that is, I dance and I am nude, as required in the VIP, but I'm 6' away from them). So they walk out because I'm not blowing them for their 30 euros (out of which I get 15). They don't even ask if they could get a lap dance for a tip, they just go "so that's it?" to which I say "for the basic price, yes" and they walk out.

In the beginning when I was just starting out I used to wonder what was wrong with me, I've learned by now that you can't please all of them and sometimes pleasing them just ain't worth the trouble for the little money they do shell out, so now I just do a little "SCORE!" in my head when they walk out. It is sweet!

HAHAHA! Bunch of jerks. This has happened to me alot too. I guess the general concensus is that most guys don't like tattoos?!? Whatever. I got smart though, I found a great schoolgirl outfit where the top covers all of my tattoos. They don't even see them until halfway through the dance

lastnight's event made me think of this thread. I was invited into a group that had already been in VIP for awhile and the waitress took me to this young goodlooking guy, I did a few dances before I noticed he was with one of my old regular customers. I said hi to him , but kept my attention on my guy. After like 20 minutes of talking and dancing, my old customer starts screaming at me to leave and calling me names and asked how much to make me go away? I was upset b/c i knew he was acting like that b/c he was drunk and I never called him when he gave me his phone number. He is a real ego- maniac. I told him 200. (there was only 20 or so min left before closing). He gave me 200 dollars and shooed me away. I am now amused, as I think he was just getting super jealous watching me with his younger and better looking friend. It was werid though b/c we never had any bad blood before.

hah! I had a guy do that same thing! he bought an hour, i was wearing a dress, when we were in the room and i took off my dress, he said he thinks tats are disgusting, and left. hey, it was cool, b/c less then 20 minutes later i was back in the room for 2 hours with a better guy, who loved my tat and tipped me 200$ to help me afford to finish it!

I can definitely say that I like big colorful tattoos on women so keep looking for the right customer.
