    Default Not liking fruit.

    I'm a vegan, but I hate fruit. I will not eat it. I'll eat it if it's in something or in a smoothie, fruit preserves or applesauce, but i can't eat it whole and raw- the way that it's best for you.

    I'll eat any kind of vegetable- I'm not picky there.. I love vegetables- but something about fruit really grosses me out. I can't even eat apples or bananas or oranges. simple basic fruits. I wish I could- they smell so good but the texture makes me gag. I've tried eating them several times and I just can't get myself to do it.

    Am I the only one?? I need to find a way to eat fruit.. because I feel like it's severely limiting my diet.

    Is it just the texture you don't like? What about freezing fruits and eating them frozen? (peaches and strawberries are yummy this way, so are grapes). Other than that...I'm not sure how to help, I love fruit.

    im no help, but im the same way about vegetables. i dont like em and i wont eat em. i eat fruit, though.

    Wow. I can't relate, I love fruit. Bananas are my favorite food! Maybe you could throw them into a blender with a little soymilk and ice, and make a "milkshake"? I used to do that with regular milk and bananas all the time when I was a kid. One or two cubes of ice is enough to give it a slushy consistency.

    what about dried fruit or juices? Are those still gross?

    Yeah...I love veggies, but not a fan of fruit. Too sweet for me. I do juice once in a while...or if I have cereal I'll put banana or berries on it. But just eating fruit all by itself...no thanks.

    I like dried fruit and fruit juice- but it's not as good for you. Maybe I'll try finding some organic dried fruit at the healthfood store with no sugar or anything added...I know a lot of dried fruit has sulphites in it. I do like dried bananas, mangoes, strawberries, pineapple, apples, grapes... I totally forgot about that option, I guess I kind of just wrote it off because i didn't think it was healthy.

    How about juice? Im the opposite - love fruit, cant stand vegetables. I juice the veggies whenever I can as I find theyre actually nice that way.
    My mum doesnt like fruit either but doesnt mind juice.

    ergh you aren't the only one.

    i try and drink pure, unconcentrated juices, that seems like the best thing, even though i know they aren't nearly as good for you as the fruit itsself.

    also i find it easier to maybe eat little fruits. like blueberries. tiny little things to pop in your mouth are not nearly as overwhelming as a whole orange or apple.

    thats sounds weird... but it works for me.

    Well at least your bloodsugar is more likely to be stable!

    If you don't like fruits, don't fret. Maybe you're not wired to like them as much as some of us.

    I LOVE fruit. I just finished off some pineapple a minute ago. I need fruit everyday. I have to force the veggies down.
