    Default Pleaser or Tony shoes?

I've always worn Pleasers and I've been happy with them in the past, they fit well, all that. But lately it seems like I've been going through them like crazy. The elastic on the straps stretches out and falls apart so quickly.

I've heard some good things about Tony shoes, but I don't like a lot of their styles. I guess I want to know if Tony shoes are better quality than Pleaser. They're a little more money, but I'd be willing to spend if they're gonna last longer than a few months like my Pleasers.

    So any Tony fans??

They're all about the same, IMO...same materials and all. I like Pleasers because they're easier to find at the stores and they have the heel height and style that I like.

I love tony shoes. They are very durable... I've had my 8" pair for two years.

The Tony shoes are narrower than the Pleaser shoes, I just found out, so Tony's work better for narrow feet. I am an 8 1/2 to 9 and the 8 fit perfectly.

i used to have really good luck with tony shoes. i had some 6 inchers that lasted so long i wore through the plastic that makes up the platform.

but..the last 2 pairs i got were 7 inch and looked a little differnt then the 6 inch. the straps on both pairs started coming off of the base with in a few days of wear.

i dont think the extra money is worth it any more.

I've always used Pleaser, even before I was dancing I bought regular heels for every day, very durable.

I wore Tony's simply because I LOVED this style

The comfort was better (more padding at the ball of the foot and I think the cork in that articular style was a good shock absorber), and I found that the soles stayed on ("talking" shoes were a problem with other brands for me) but the plastic upper tore just as quickly as any other brand.

be careful to buy tonys shoes, not anthony for tonys- cos they are the shittier quality shoe made to compete with pleasers.

tonys are fucking amazing. ive only ever worn them, and have never broken a pair in 5 years-and im a thrasher. the worst ive done is worn off the rubber sole-but i think thats pretty normal?

the 2 bad pair i got were legit tony, not anthony. the first pairs that lasted me forever were so comfy, i might call them and let them know what is up with my shoes...maybe they will give me another pair for reduced cost...

Just thought I'd update my own post!!

I got a pair of Tonys that are very similar to the Pleaser Taboo criss-cross style I love so much.

    Pleasers: http://www.snaz75.com/pl-taboo-757.html

    Tonys: http://www.snaz75.com/ts-902.html

Just tried them on and here's the results....

The part where the buckle is fastened is made MUCH BETTER than Pleasers. The Pleasers have elastic which stretches over (a very short) time if you're rough on the straps like me. The Tonys buckles are looped by the patent material itself, and much better secured. I know these will last longer as far as the straps hanging on.

They are narrower than Pleasers. Not too narrow for me though. I am slightly worried about toes hanging over once they stretch out, but we'll see.

They feel much more padded on the insole. So probably more comfy at work.

Bottoms are not rubber like Pleaser. They're slick. I'll have to buy some shoe grips.

Hope this helps someone else out!!

I prefer Tony's over Pleasers. I found it to be much more comfy and lasts longer.

Ugh. Anthony's suck. I only kept the ones I bought as a stand-by pair in case my clear pleasers broke (which they did, my fault.) Fuckers hurt.

I've always used Pleasers and I'm scared to try tony's although if you say they have more shoe padding that is always nice!! I buy these: http://www.snaz75.com/pl-sky-302.html and they usually last me 3-5 months a pair.

This is tony's version which I've never tried, which is double the price.

    http://www.snaz75.com/ts-714.html

has anyone tried the tony version of that style?

    UPDATE!

My Tony's already broke. The side of the shoe tore out of the sole. Now I have a frayed edge sticking out that looks horrible. I think I wore them maybe 3 times, too!

I'm going back to Pleasers. I already bought a pair. Tony's just aren't worth the extra money to me.

I've tried both and they wore out equally fast, maybe in different areas though.

I like the cost of pleasers, how easy it is to find them and the fact that the guy I buy them from will replace or repair them depending on the shoe. He also sells them to me at cost.

For me, ease and cost are major deciding factors in buying work shoes.
