I had an almost full rack. Two younger guys were sitting together and did not tip me for my first song, although I did dance in front of them a bit (I give a one-song chance to tip before I say something). Halfway through the second song, they get up still having not tipped and head to the bar. As they get up I said really loudly, "Hey, thanks for the tips guys, that was really nice of you!" in a really sarcastic tone. They looked embarrassed, and hurried over to the bar. They came back on my third song and motion me over. One of them says "Why did you do that? Didn't you see the twenty my buddy threw on stage?" I simply replied. "No silly, I didn't. It would help if you put it right in front of you instead of throwing it...then you'd get a great show." I proceeded to dance for everyone.
I immediately went through my pile of money when I stepped offstage, and guess what? No twenty. Big fucking surprise...they had not tipped me a single cent my whole set.
I walked over to them and said "There is no twenty. Nice trick guys, really you are true gentlemen." Then I walked away before they could respond. A few minutes later there was a knock on the DR door. It was the bouncer with one of the guys. He handed me a twenty without saying anything and walked away with his head down.
