    Pic of my sewing project

So I had some pattern difficulties and am still hemming the damn thing, but I wanted to post a picture. The one detail that doesnt come through in the pic is that it has an up-to-there slit in the front of the leg, so I can do polework.

I definately hate working off other peoples patterns... THis one rotated the pattern on teh wrong side of the fabric so I had to improvise to get both sides to have the right side of the fabric facing out....

Gotta get some butchers paper so I can sketch out my own patterns and dispense with that nonsense!

Cut out my face since I look really unhealthy at the moment, and had no makeup on.

    Any thoughts?

Wow! I really like that. It looks very elegant and reminds me of what I see stars wearing to the Emmy Awards and such. Good work! Are you creating this gown for work, or is it for another formal event?

probably for work, I have a shortage of formal events... I dont know though, the improvising ate up some clothe, so the neckline isn't as low as it should have been.... I really hate working from other peoples patterns. They ALWAYS put directions in wrong. Ah well, just a bit of hemming it left to do. Not bad for about 12$ worth of fabric though...
