    Default Gift for a Guy?

So my guy is always getting me little gifts here and there. Lingerie, Sheries Berries (yum!) champagne, whatever, just little things with no aparent reason. I want to get him something - not for a birthday or holiday. Just because. Im horrible with gift giving... I want something somewhat original. I dont want to go buy him a shirt because he needs clothes.. Just something to say Im thinking about you. Any ideas?

    Guys are hard, i agree.

Usually if I want to surprise R I get him a magazine, a cute card, or some candy he really likes.

I get him card every so often but it seems so lame compared to the things he comes up with. Im thinking maybe I could get him a golf gift certificate. He likes golf and football...

I've gotten K a couple of necklaces. I got him one leather necklace that he wore until it fell apart, and then I bought him another one, and now that it's broken I should probably get him another one. I also bought him a Guinness T-shirt once (he loves Guinness, he's an Irish boy), and I've gotten him CD's a few times because he's obsessed with music. Last year for Chanukah I put together a little martini set since he loves vodka martinis. I got a nice little basket and put a martini shaker, a bottle of Grey Goose, and a little jar of garlic-stuffed olives.

And yeah, SGT's right, guys love gadgets. I'm looking for a really super-nice Leatherman to get K for Chanukah this year.

I'm a sucker for chocolates, but that's not common. If he does like them though, go for it!

Clothes really aren't a bad idea, I love when a woman compliments me on what I'm wearing and if you picked something you knew he would look good in you can do that as well. My taste in clothes has been almost entirely shaped by various attractive women I know.

If he doesn't have a good watch and you can swing a nice one, that's a great gift, a GF got me one once and that was among the best gifts I've ever gotten.

If he doesn't have a nice cologne that's not a bad idea either.

I'm actually not a big fan of gadgets but once again I suspect I'm in the minority.

And the #1 all time best and easily obtained gift for a guy is waking him up in the morning with head. I'm not trying to be lewd, I'm actually 100% serious, every guy I know loves that idea and it happens far less frequently that we'd like.

Leather man "Wave" - the factory is in Portland Oregon so is the Gerber Knife company. Maybe a lady from PDX could help you out.

check out redenvelope.com They have nifty gifts spanning a variety of price ranges. Does he wear button up shirts to work? I purchased the "hidden message collar stays" for a special someone and they were a great hit. Had them monogrammed too.

Does he read? The new book by his favorite author, with a loving inscription on the title page is a great gift.

Personally, I like small intimate gifts. Don't need other things (I buy them myself). Perhaps you could give him yourself? Wrapped in a bow. Be creative with it.

Every guy has an empty wall in his apartment/house. Get him a framed picture/painting. Guys like scenes of nature: waterfalls, mountains, animals, etc.

My boyfriend and I surprise each other every now and again with little things.

I think my boy would prefer food to just about anything I could buy him, so many of my gifts for him are baked goods or homecooked meals...and he's a happy man.

Or go the safe route and go with porn...or make him cookies, AND get porn! No guy would be disapointed with that!

If you want to go a more....ahem...traditional route, are you ever at a store, and see something that makes you think of him? For instance, my boyfriend LOVES a particular brand name...so if I happen to pass the store, I'll stop in and get him a tshirt or something with the logo. But concert posters, tickets, shot glasses, his favorite brand of liquor, DVDs, etc are alll good.

You can't go wrong with a cute sentimental card and a long, wet, sloppy blowjob!

Yea, I agree. If he's going out of his way and buying you all these gifts as proof that he's thinking of you and showing is bursts of affection in your absence by doing the little things for you, he probably would appreciate the same thing back.

So say thanks, with a nice card and a trinket. Just speak to him in the card. That's all you'd really need to do.

The best guy gift I ever gave was to a friend that was into cooking and I got him a fancy big sharp kitchen knife, men definitely like sharp things.

The present I remember getting best--other than official holidays, that is--was a hand made card that said she wanted to eat me alive. She made a cute joke out of it somehow, I forget that part. It was really, really sweet, and the fact she actually spent some time making it really impressed me. She actually cut out the paper, the works. She used a bright red color for the writing.

Some guys wouldn't be impressed with a handmade gift (their loss), but if he is as attentive as you have said, I bet he would love it!

I returned the favor later with a couple of 'coupons' I made for her. You know, "redeemable for a (insert favor here)." Maybe you could do that?

I agree with this. Add your favorite cologne and that would be an awesome gift. Tell him the cologne is magic and will make you wild with passion and apt to give blowjobs with abandon.
