    Breathe....
I hate crowds too. I usually do better on slower shifts. Just focus on the fellow you are chatting with, work on ignoring the craziness, don't get swept up in it. Put on a big smile, feel yourself radiate positive energy. Never let them see you sweat. Who knows... you might like the zany atmosphere after a little while.

Sometimes it is nice to switch it up. You may feed off the crowd for your stage shows and you kno wif a guy is a pain there are a hundred others there to choose from.

I prefer the laid back attitude of dayshift too..but sometimes I enjoy the energy of nights.

Just breathe. More guys means more money, right? At least more chances at money. It will be a different hustle and not as laid back, but nights can be so much fun!

I used to work day shift too but now I am loving the night shift. Keep smiling. Be slightly aggressive too The first time I worked on night shift I was a little laid back and wasted my time talking to customers. But I realized I have to ask them for a dance or for a private room after a minute because If I don't someone else will

Everyone's probaly going to yell at me for this but..... have a glass of wine (or two ? I don't know if you drink or not, but a glass of good red wine has a calming effect on me, and most people I know.
I'm not saying get hammered, but a nice mellow buzz.
And I do mean GOOD red wine, not the cheap stuff!!
If you don't drink, I definately agree with the BREATHE that the other girls have said above. I am a nervous nellie as well. Crowds and alot of people I don't know (especially other dancers) makes me a little crazy. Sometimes just taking a few deep breaths and asking myself "What do I really have to be nervous about, is it worth it?" Kind of like a mental valium

Wow. Im the opposite. I love the busy crazy weekend nights. I only work Fri/Sat night shift. I worked a day shift once and about killed myself due to sheer boredom.

I switched abruptly from dayshifts at a small club to nightshifts at a big club, and it was definitely a learning process for a little while, but soon it was no big deal.

You will probably have to switch your hustle up a bit, though. You don't want to sit and bullshit for 15 minutes before you ask for a dance they way you would on a dayshift. In my experience, more guys on night shifts will buy dances, but more guys will buy just one or two, compared to dayshift, when guys may spend a while talking and then buy a bunch of dances over an hour or so.

Ask for dances quickly and move on. Talk to lots of people. Keep your energy high. Good luck!
