Default Avoiding back with a crack

Hi. I'm interested in building a rounder, perkier ass.

Right now I do 40 min of cardio about 4-5 days a week, and I work on the weight machines about 3 days a week.

What are some exercises that will build up my butt? Lunges? Anything else? I'm heading into back with a crack territory and it's not cool at all.

    Help!!

    Thank you.

Dead lifts, squats and lunges. Use heavier weights. Also rollerblading is good for giving you a shelf bootie !

You might have a slight posterior pelvic til which makes your booty look flatter than it has to be. Realign your pelvis and activate your glutes with pilates then build them back up with the other exercises listed.

haha that sounds painful. and funny.i need to sleep

anyway, lots of cardio=more weight loss=less ass to work with=muscular back with crack. if you use a gym, check out the machines that work hamstrings, glutes, and lower back....otherwise lunges and squats all day.

What exactly is back crack? I mean, don't we all kinda have a crack in the back to some degree? I don't think I've ever seen a flat back and surely a crack is better than a protruding spine? Please help me understand!!!

Back with a crack= flat all the way down with just a slit in the bottom where the butt usually is.
Basically meaning no butt and just a crack lol

I find lunges to be great though... they help build a firm lil booty!

Lol, back with a crack. Well, at least be thankful it doesn't look like an ass in the middle of your back like in my avatar. To build up a bigger, more muscular booty (and I can preach because mine is absolutely huge), do lots of squats and step-ups. I squat every day that I work out (which is 6 days a week). Every other day I do regular squats, and then in between I do squats with a pause. I set the catch bars up so that when I squat down onto them, my legs are parallel with the floor. I load the bar up to about 15lbs less than I normally squat. Then I just go down into the squat, rest the bar on the catches until it stops shaking (usually about 2 seconds) then I just stand up. Then I do one legged angled leg presses, and one legged hack squats. Makes my ass stronger, more toned, and firmer.

    ^^ OK thanks guys!!

I have a cute little butt. My mother said when I was a newborn baby, I didn't have a butt, just 2 tiny bird legs b/c I was only 5lbs 4 oz when born. She used to call me Tiny Hiney. ANYHOOO...

I just want a rounder ass. My parents came to visit me this week and I noticed that THEY BOTH HAVE FLAT BUNS-like totally flat- and I realized that if I keep losing weight like I have been (and I only have about 5-8 more lbs to go) then I will end up with back with a crack. While I work my legs and hamstrings on the weights, I do not do any lunges or squats. So I am adding those to my routine, starting tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggestions! No flat buns for me!
