I have never tried any of the over the counter whitening strips, but I am very interested to know which product is the best one out there.
I get a lot of compliments on my teeth & all I do is rinse once a day with 1/2 peroxide, 1/2 water, and once a day put baking soda on my toothbrush & brush. I think the strips are overpriced crap, their main ingredient is just peroxide anyway.

^Doesn't that make your teeth really sensitive though?
My aunt does that lol ..
Peroxide is the ingredient in all white strips, so if those make your teeth sensitive, so will peroxide

I did the Crest Strips when they first came out and they worked very well. After I used them up, I stopped and my teeth started to tint slightly, but not very much...damn Diet Pepsi. Instead of the strips, I got some Listerine Pre-Brush rinse and it worked very very well. Granted it's not Zoom Whitening, but for $5-$7 a bottle, the stuff works great. Get them lightened up once (strips or the formula Lana suggested), and then just maintain with the Listerine. Every so often you can catch sales at Wal-Mart of the pre-brush rinse with a smaller bottle attached for like $5.

Imo, the best otc product is the Rembrandt Whitening strips. They worked for me-four shades worth.
I've tried the new Listerine strips that dissolve when you wear them. They work as well as any of the others and they aren't as messy.
Two positives of them for me: You really can't tell they are in your mouth while you're wearing them. They don't slide around. And they leave you with clean feeling teeth and fresh breath. I like to use them after eating.
Two downfalls of them for me: Claiming they dissolve is quite a stretch. Even after they 'dissolve' I still have to wipe chunks off my teeth. And you have to use them four times a day. I have trouble remembering them.
