    Default Grrrr. Famous people.

We had a famous former basketball player in tonight. At first I was a little excited, because he was someone my brother LOVED as a kid, and I could tell him I saw him (though I'd have to lie about where). Then I made eye contact with famous guy--chills. Seriously creepy-bad body language, very angry eyes, threatening posture towards a waitress. Turns out he stiffed at least 2 dancers HUNDREDS of dollars. And started all sorts of trouble.

Why do famous people act this way? I know famous people are messed up, but do they go into restaurants and then refuse to pay? Wait-maybe they do? Am I that naive? And why do we let them leave? I so hope those girls got their money. Jerk.

I think it was persuasive. Plus, I need to know what childhood idols to scratch off the list.

I have a huge inexplicable crush on Robbie Williams, and he came into a club I Worked at as a waitress. Completely ignored me :x Though he was extremely charming and charismatic. He ended up going home with the dancer I absolutly HATED because she treated all the wait staff like SHIT.

She got herpes from him. Hahahah.

Slightly off topic, but I like to tell that story whenever I can.

athlete, movie star.. even b list celebs. wanna know why?
they are so used to being catered to that they think everything should be free for them. add to that they have a HUGE sense of entitlement. equals they suck.

That's funny about Kid Rock, and makes me rethink the whole story of him assaulting the DJ at that club, lol. Though from the story it was Kid Rock's friend who really started the shit. Then some of those DJs that like to heckle the crowd can get pretty nasty. I never cared for that, myself.

I pretty much agree about celebrities, though. The entitlement is what makes them such assholes.

That reminds me, I keep meaning to post that Ron Jeremy was at our club, lol! He didn't stay long, and didn't stiff any dancers, but outside he had some porn actress with him. He looked just like the pictures, but didn't carry himself like a jerk at all, unlike so many famous people.

Athletes, as a general rule, are absolutely vile people. And most celebrities are accustomed to getting everything they want for free. It's the Great Paradox of Celebrity Status - when you don't have money, you can't afford to buy what you need, but when you have money, everything is free anyway.

Had a former football player come in, and he tried to grab a dancer's tits in Champagne Room, getting pissy when she wouldn't let him paw at her.

haha. i'm pretty sure he fucked a dancer from my club too. i wasn't working there at the time, but i've heard stories.

all the famous people i've met at work have been super nice, except one... i shan't mention any names, but let's just say he's the new canadian frontman of a popular australian rock band who is only there because he won some stupid reality tv show and he's no fuckin michael hutchence anyway! he was such a jerk.

I learnt fast that when famous sportsmen come into the club to stay the hell away. They are rude, disrespectful and never spend money on anything other than champagne.
It used to clear the floor of half the dancers though, who were gulluble enough to join thier table for the hope of some cash, which never arrived. So Id totally bank on the rest of the floor.

I should also add that I had to br told by the bouncers who the hell these sportsmen were because I would never recognise them, LOL

An r&b singer came into my club and took an interest in me. Wanted free dances and was like :" Don't you know who I am?" (eye roll)

It must have been an off day. Here in Vegas, Charles Barkley is known as a polite and extravagent tipper as well as Tiger Woods. Now this is in the casino's only. Michael Jordan, on the other hand......

By the way the infamous incident during the NBA finals with Pacman happened in a club known as Minxx

Yes, ma'am!!!!!!! You are so right. My club was the "go to" place for all the celebs, athletes, and they were horrible for the most part. One was nice and I dated him for a while, but then he ended up acting kinda asshole-y too. Oh well. The funny thing is that the sense of entitlement really alienates them from having any healthy relationships, makes them more bitter, thus more unbearable to be around and more lonely than they ever were before the got famous.

A certain snobby Asian girl whose name starts with "O" and works at a club whose initals are "LC" gave Kelly Slater chlamydia. No joke! Makes me laugh everytime I am reminded of it, because I hate them both.

It sucks to have your impression of someone shattered. Celebrities, esp athletes, are role models and need to take that job seriously.

I made friends with Andy Dick at the club I work at now the second night I was there, and am contact with him to this day. I'm distantly related to a comedian who was popular from the 50s-70s, and when I went to write down my full name in this notebook he carries around to get backstage at his show, he nearly peed his pants. I hung out with him, his brother, and his son at his show the next night, gave him adderall for the first time in his life, made a great friend, got wasted and talked for hours - not all celebrities are jerks! He's the sweetest, most brilliant, down to earth nymphomaniac you'll ever me. Athletes, singers, etc usually suck. Comedians are the best.

    ^^ I heart comedians! (Now I wanna know who you're related to . . .)

One of my all time favourite calls was when the fat one in Good Charlotte (I don't know his name) complained to me that the stripcub was "full of sluts". I said, "Isn't that like going to a brothel and complaining they're all whores?". The rest of the band were ok, tripping off their heads on acid though. Spent over 10k on the girls.

The night an especially fiesty girl got into a bitchfight with Paris 'Hilton was awesome though. I still laugh when I remember the two of them at it, as they came tumbling down the stairs. She made some "interesting" noises in the toilet. Didn't spend a single $.

That's the only nice Andy Dick story I've ever heard, lol. He has a son???

The comedian John Pinette was in our club and he was the nicest guy. He wasn't an extravagant spender, but he tipped us very well.

I tend to avoid the famous rappers, ball players and other celebrtities now. They don't have to spend a dime to get girls sitting in their laps all night. And usually they feel very entitled to the free attention and simply do not spend, except on drinks and bottles.
