Let me tell you something about this flick. In all the history of Man versus dragon, you have never seen anything as fucking awesome as the climax of this movie.

Yay, I'm so glad you guys like this movie! My boything worked on it (his name is in the credits ) and I am sooooo proud. I loved it too, and not just because it was my BF's movie, but also because there were nonstop monsters! So many movies skimp on the monster footage, and it drives me crazy. Beowulf now ranks above Van Helsing as the movie with the awesomest monster action. Oh, and I saw it in 3D, and that made it even a little scary because the monsters were like, right there in your eyes.
Drought was over. Where was I? Drinks were on the house.
For mixers, my love, you'd poured--what?--even the rain.

    The CGI turns me off.

    It's worth it though?

Matinee/Student ID worth it... or 10:40pm + popcorn and diet coke worth it?

Went to see it tonight. From the beginning it was gory and disgusting, but when Grendels mother went to visit Beowulf and left his companions' corpses hanging upside down from the rafters, dripping blood (straight out of silence of the lambs- I swear) I had to leave. How did this movie get a PG-13 rating??? I am in shock.

I was forced to read this shitty ass crappy un-understandable 98-page book in 6th grade. We had 5 weeks of daily homework on it.

I mentioned that to a sw'er and she was all "whaaaa? What kinda school district is that?!" meaning that she'd done essays in COLLEGE.

It was a low-light of my life 4 shore.

Allz I remember is the part about him swimming, about to lose his breath, coming up, choking on stars or some crap. That part would be cool in a movie!

Did you see it in 3D? I saw it last night at an IMax #D theater and it was an exerience I must say. Im glad t see they are making an adult movie using CGI, and if this movies does well, they will make more. Cool.

I'm just waiting until it hits HD or Blu Ray to watch it in my home theater. But I'm definitely stoked to see it.

I have an extensive home theater set up myself (see below) and go to very few movies per year due to having the HT set up, some times none per year, but this one is really worth seeing it in the 3D format, IMax all the better if you can find it. I promise.

I think I'll survive in my home theater with it, but if I get an odd chance at a discounted ticket I'll look into it.

    Nice setup by the way.

I can say it's worth it. The film was optimzed for 3D and it really works.

Thanx, it's geared toward two channel music, but is killer for movies also.
