Hi Ladies,
I was going to get my boobies done from an A to b or small C several months before, but bailed out because I just wasn't ready to take the plunge, especially financially. Right now I have enough $ saved up, and already put a deposit on the surgery with the doctor. I would really appreciate your ladies' advice on this...
The doctor suggested I do silicone under-the-muscle with the nipple incision. He said it was because since my boobs are so small (AA), I have very little mammary creasing to begin with, and the nipple incision will create the best access to creating the breast pocket/fold. The doctor also does transax saline, which I originally wanted done, but he kept suggesting I do the silicone unders with nipple incision.
My dilemma: I'm worried about the nipple incision healing keeping me out of work for longer than the trans-armpit incision due to healing. I'm also worried about nipple sensation loss: Has any of you ladies heard or expetienced a lot of nipple sensation lost when the nipploe incision was done...or does sensation decrease in general if anyone has any kind of breast implant with any kind of incision?
-Will it really make a difference to do silicone under the muscle instead of saline under-the-muscle? I figure that if the saline is under the muscle, no rippling will be felt anyways, correct, so what's the need for silicone? Or am I wrong? I don't think I have done enough research on this, and could use all the advice I can get here from you wonderful ladies! Does the silicone feel softer and more real than saline...if it's under the muscle? Or is the difference so little that it doesn't make a difference?
-have you heard that if the woman has very small boobs to begin with, that doing the incision closer (like nipple or in the breast fold) helps make the placement more accurate, or is that just bs? can just as good a job of implant placement be done with through the armpit?
-Is healing on the nipple really good in general? Or will I have to use special make-up when I returnaback to dancing (ideally return to work after 2 or 3 weeks of taking off work)? Or is there possibility I will not heal well (I will stay away from smokers, and take my vitamins, apply vitamin E, and such)?
-If you were the judge, what would you choose and why: Silicone under the muscle, through the nipple, or saline under the muscle through the armpit? ...thinking of factors like feel, healing, loss of nipple sensation due to incision choice, healing time, the way it looks and bounces, etc?
P.S. The doctor doesn't like to do incision through the mammary fold becase it tendds to be visible when someone is looking up at you (especially since I only want to be a full B/small C). And because rif I ever want to go larger implants, then that i ncision will end up being on my actual breast...it gets moved up when you put in a larger implant, if that makes sense I hope.
I'd really appreciate any input from you ladiesd! thank you sooo much! This website has been soooo valuable to me!
