    Default stripper mannerisms

what weird mannersims have you picked up from dancing??

i dont think ive ever seen a dancer who doesnt do the 'big step-big step- little step-big step' stripper walk on stage. you know, that weird shuffle walk we somehow pick up.

and i noticed years ago, i picked up a weird walking around the pole backwards thing, from a club i worked in where every dancer did that move.

Ass clapping. When the girls were teaching me how to do it they warned me that it would become a habit and that I'd be doing it everywhere. Well they were right. Waiting to cross the street, standing in line at the grocery store, you name it. Wiggle wiggle wiggle. I don't even find ass-clapping sexy but most of the guys at our club love it. ?!

I walk with my hips more. I also tend to look at everyone more slyly like I would in the club. I subconsciously listen to every song for its potential as an SC song. My posture is 200% better.

My posture is alot better, and I carry myself in an all around sexy manner. Mostly because of my lil strut, heh.

I LIVE in heels. So I've defininately picked up the whole walk one foot directly in front of the other so your hips swing almost ridiculously out from side to side. I don't notice it until my friends point it out. And they laugh. And then I laugh. Because I drink for free at the local joints! Ha!

    Pointed toes.

Even if I trip on something and fall flat on my butt, I somehow manage to do it with my toes pointed. Yes I am a klutz -- but a graceful one at that.

Hmm, I thought we all did the stepping thing to keep from fall over. I know that's why I do it. I take a couple big steps on stage and - oops - I have too momentum and feel like I'm about to fall forward onto my face. The little step stops the momentum.

    I love my pointed toesies!!

Also, I got the stripper walk down to a science.

haha I do this. I'll be leaning over a counter somewhere and suddenly my bf's going "stop shaking your ass!" lol.

It's also really hard to bend over and not be sexy about it.

I also have a habit of practicing random floorwork when I'm laying in bed.

I clap my ass everywhere!!! Its a tough habit to kick.

Just recently my friends have been yelling at me for flirting with every guy in the bar telling me I was eye fucking all of them, and then I realized that I was treating the bar like my own personal strip club. Thats what happens when I work Friday day shift then go out with the girls at night!
I really do need to calm down the sexy eyes and body language out in the real world.

I do the stripper step thing. What is it in dance language? step ball change or something. I also do the foot drag thing - AND I do this little kick thing with my foot that I can't for the life of me stop.

I was thinking the other day about how you could totally go CSI on a girl and tell if she is a stripper or not. Like, does anyone else have constant little callouses on their pole hand? Check. I bet you do!

HA ..I do that too. I'll meet some chick and she'll have the callouses, the walk and little telltale bruises up her shins and tell me shes a waitress. I'll giggle to myself...uh huh...waitress...

on't know if this counts, but ever since I've gotten my "stripper groove", I've been super bitchy to guys who try to hit on me IRL. Maybe I feel like I deserve it now since I put up with all the custy bs at work.

The way I dance in normal clubs. Probably because I never went out dancing before I was a stripper so this is the only way I 'know' how to dance. Slower and more sensual than the civilians dancing like they are having a seizure. It really stands out in a normal club setting, I can't help it!

When I'm at the store and I see a guy, I'll try to make eye contact and smile at him as though I'm at work. It's honestly become second nature to me. I got to stop because I don't want some weirdo thinking I'm genuinely interested him.
I grab my boobies alot too!

I've somehow developed habit of doing weird things with my legs on stage. I never thought I had great legs, but in those heels most of us do, its like now I try to show them off.
I can't stop arching my back and sticking my butt out when I bend over. And yes, I too am guilty of the booty shaking at totally random times.

Turning on the "charm" when I want something, regardless of where I am. I notice a certain way I slightly bow my head, side smile, bat my eyelashes slowly and use my hair when I ask a man for something, just like I do when I ask for a dance.

Oh god-I do the walk. One of the girls at work told me I walk 'like a fairy'-little mincy steps. LOL I do the slow shoe drag all the time too-especially when I am nervous in a social context. And I pull my hair up all the time now-push it up with one hand, let it down sexy-like.

I try to stripper spot all the time-I need to look for the walk. There's a couple of girls at school I've spotted.

I bend at the waist with my ass sticking out when I pick anything up. It used to drive my ex boyfriend insane, but I don't do it on purpose!

I point my toes, even during sex.

I don't know about on-stage habits....but outside of work, I picked up the nasty habit of calling all guys "sweetie" and "honey"....it's BAD. I really need to work on that!
