    Default Armpits

Has anybody ever Naired or waxed their armpits? I usually shave but I'm getting implants thru the armpit and I would like to minimize ingrowth while the incision is healing.

Anybody know a good method of long-term hair removal for your armpits other than laser hair removal?

I got my armpits waxed. It was Hell on Earth. I was ready to tell the woman the formula for the A-bomb, or anything she wanted to know. I couldn't tell much of a difference between doing that and shaving. I think the hair grew in slightly slower, and no ingrowns. I wouldn't do it again, but it was effective. Just let it grow out for like 2 weeks before.

I've had mine waxed a couple of times. It's really not THAT bad, I thought (on par with brazilian), and it's over quicker than waxing my kitty. And I'm the hugest baby in the world with pain. I get major ingrowns when I shave so waxing really is the best solution for me until I can afford to do laser.

I had my BA through the armpit and it really is not as big of a deal as you would think. The inscision heals really fast and it seemed as if not as much hair grew while it was healing.

I only ever wax and the pain is not that bad. I think it gets better with time though as I have been doing it for about 7 years now and I could literally sleep though it, I hardly feel it. Definitely 1000 times less painful than a brazilian, IMO.

Just if you are waxing, make sure you exfoliate the area so you don't get nasty ingrowns!

I have and it SUCKS. It is horribly painful, and I got ingrowns anyway. It itched like crazy when it grew back, also.
