    Default NJ/PA accountant?

As of Oct. I'm a licensed real stripper (we have to get a business license at my club), sooo...I have to pay taxes in Nj and PA. Can anyone recommend a good accountant in either place to help me with this? Am I going to get robbed on this? I'm okay with taxes, but I know I've probably overpaid a lot when dancing, because deductions make me nervous. I just follow the Turbotax software at the moment.

^^^ if you understand the deductions, you're probably in pretty good shape with TurboTax. What you really need to truly help your situation any further is a CPA that is intimately familiar with the 'dancing' industry. These are very hard to find. Simply hooking up with an accountant who is unfamiliar with the 'dancing' industry probably isn't going to provide any additional help, and may in fact steer you in the wrong direction.

you mean the business privledge license that is required of all Philadelphia dancers (even though many clubs dobn't enforce it)?

That changes nothing about your tax status.

Yes, I had to get one for D's. Good to know-I tried to ask at the tax place and they had no idea! Is there any benefit to that lisence? Or is D's just full of sticklers?

there's no benefit aside from the fact that it's legally required to have, and therefore many clubs do enforce it and won't let you work without one. It just means you have premission to run a business in Philly. That's it.

Does Delilahs still make dancers get the "business privledge license" or do they let girls slide on it???
