    Default Massage/Chiropractic Therapy

Has anyone ever tried massage therapy or chiropractic services for migraines?

I've suffered for years from migraines and have tried every natural remedy, OTC remedies, and perscription remedies. My last hope was Botox therapy which my health insurance promptly denied because it's still in the experimental stages and has not been clinicly tested.

I just want the pain to stop. I want to go to bed at night and not wonder if I'm going to have a migraine the next day.

I've had a headache since Saturday and I just want the pain to stop.

    Sorry about the whinning.

I've not tried Chiropractic for headaches, but I have used accupressure/accupuncture and I HIGHLY recommend that!!!

I see a Chiropractor regularly to help w/my spine problems. It's helped a lot with my headaches. I have them a lot less, and hardly ever any migraines. When I do get bad headaches/migraines it is often because one of my vertebrae is pressing a nerve in a bad way. Try it, if you can, especially if your insurance will cover it.

Yes, chiropractic has got rid of my migraines.
Very occasionally I might throw something out and get one, but its an easy fix!
Massage is great for relief I find if I cant get to a chiropractor.

My husband used to get horrible migraines once a week. Chiropractic treatments helped him quite a bit. He went regularly for 6 months and now he just goes when he gets a migraine- about once every 2 months. After he goes, he feels a lot better. Just make sure it's a legit Chiropractor who takes X rays and asks a lot of questions. Ours is excellent, but there are some crazies out there! I hope you feel better. Migraines are awful.
