Default Does anyone own these shoes?

I think they're Ellie. I've heard mixed reviews about the comfortableness of Ellies... I've always had Pleasers before and like them fine, but I think these shoes are super hot and would go perfect with one of my best outfits. So does anyone have these specific shoes? Are they comfy?

I have a pair of 6 inch Ellies that I really like. Pretty comfortable for being 6 inches. I LOVE the style of the shoes you posted. Super hot!

I wear Ellies. I haven't worn that particular shoe but I have worn other 6-inchers by that brand. They are very comfy and pretty durable , be forewarned.... the paint on the platform can get a a little scuffed. But other than that.... they're great!

I don't have those shoes, but all I wear is Ellie. My feet are long and slender, and fit into Ellies just perfectly! So comfortable.

I like Ellies. The problem I have with Pleasers is that my feet are kinda wide for them. Ellies are comfortable for me, though like Sophia said, the paint can get scuffed/ chipped off (though I'm assuming that could happen to any brand?).

Hmmm interesting. Our feet are opposites (yours are slender, mine are wide), and yet we both find Ellies to be comfortable? How does that work?

Those shoes are cute but I hate Ellies! IDK if I'm just too rough with my shoes, but they break sooo soon after buying them. I'll never buy Ellie's again. And I tried a few pairs, thinking it was a fluke, but they still break.

ya.... i don't like them b/c of breakage either, but a girl at my clu has the pair you posted and wears them all the time...... so maybe those are better. i buy ones w/out backstraps, and my issue is the top part splitting.

Really?? That's weird, my feet are very very thin, but Ellies are the best brand for me!
And I've never had a pair break on me before either, but that might depend on how rough you are with them. I dunno...I just love Ellies.

What size are you? I have those shoes but don't like them (they didn't go with my outfits like I thought they would, and not having a front strap feels weird to me, so eh.) Let me know if you want them; they're size 8 and have only been "worn" for about two minutes. I tried them on but never wore them to work.

^^^ Really? I'm a size 8! The strap shouldn't bother me.. I usually don't wear any ankle straps at all, just the regular across-the-toes strap. I'd love to buy them from you, so they get some use.. can you PM me?

I think Ellie's are really comfy but they have a very short lifespan.

I do, i do!! i was really surprised to see these shoes in your post. God they are SO SEXY!!!!! They are so sexy that i sometimes just wear em around the house and admire me own feet in them. I'm telling you, these shoes will give ANYONE the most sexy feet!

Are they comfortable? Well. No. they are pretty unstable to be friggin honest. I think that the instability comes from how much foot is actually exposed (the peekaboo toes plus the ankle= wobble city). they aren't the kind of shoes that you would bring to work in hopes of dancin in them all night. At least not for me. I always bring them though and bust them out a couple of times in the night to complete that special outfit. they don't HURT my feet, they are just challenging to walk in. But they make great "prancers".

The patent seems surprisingly strong. I tend to dislike Ellie shoes, but these were just different. In terms of quality and craftsmanship, I mean. These shoes are HOT HOT HOT!!! I would advise you to buy them.

I have these, and agree with the above that they aren't terribly stable -- but they aren't too bad. And they are so sexy that even guys compliment them. I say get them. They are hot, hot, hot. I think I'll order a pair myself.

^^^Ah, I saw those too, but I think that that the back ankle strap might be a little more comfortable than the full heel thing. But I think it's maybe a little bit hotter that the whole heel is covered up -- more like real pumps.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone. Since Picaresque has a pair she isn't wearing anymore, she's going to send them to me! Thanks again Pic! Hopefully I won't have too many problems with the unstable/uncomfortable thing. We'll see.

Seriously, the last pair of Ellie's I had were adorable, pink cuties....And as I was walking with a girlfriend to the dressing room, I felt like I had gum on the bottom of my shoe, took another step and WHAM! Down I fell on my face, twisting my ankle. The insole of the shoe had completely RIPPED out somehow, so basically the whole top of the shoe was hanging off the "base" of the shoe...

I promptly returned them but I will NEVER buy them again... I could have really hurt myself!

I like ellies. I still have my first black sixers! The patent does wear off fairly quickly, but I put a smidge of black electrical tape over it, or a shot of spray paint. Old reliables.
