VG...that's the thing that makes me wonder--I don't eat many processed foods or simple sugars at all, and generally eat healthy; plenty of fiber, vegetables, etc. If I was eating crap and feeling ill I'd probably just think "well duh" and cut out the junk food.

But even "good" stuff like whole-grain bread makes me feel like ass.
redifer: I will try the gluten-free thing and see if it helps. I googled celiac disease and gluten intolerance after you mentioned it, and the symptoms fit. I guess if I cant get a test for it, I could cut gluten products out of my diet and see if I feel better.
