Yay! Shopping time! Is anyone else...

..... excited about the after Thanksgiving sales, or am I that much of a dork? It's almost 6am over here and I'm up and ready to head to SF pronto. I've got my Macy's and Bloomies cards ready to go! I'm just waiting for the roomie to hurry up and get his ass outta the shower, I'm ready to burn moola and calories!

The shopping this year was FANTASTIC.

I adore me some Macy's and Target. And I sooo wish we had a Kohl's!

This year is so easy for me. My daughter wants money for new shears, texturing shears and new clippers. Brad and I decided on a long weekend trip instead of presents. I'm just waiting for their stocking stuffers to come because I ordered them online.

So that just leaves the Toys R Us gift cards for the rest of the kids in the family (adults don't exchange) and I'm done!!!!

I hate shopping for regular things let alone Christmas shopping. Nobody is full of Holiday Cheer when they're getting pushed and shoved around. I'd rather sit with a glass of wine and my laptop.

I went today and was extremely disappointed with the "sales". There was really nothing on sale (except the clearance stuff left over from summer). I'll save all of my money and go shopping after Christmas when things really ARE on sale.

I even told Makayla that if she saves up all of her money, she can spend it after Christmas where she'll get more for less.

Bah...I'll never do an after-Thanksgiving Day sale, again.

Yeah when i worked at Ulta I discovered that they marked everything up before thanksgiving and than had "sales" to mark them back down to normal price. The only stuff actually on sale was makeup from previous years that was stored all year long. Gross.

I do presents after Christmas. Everybody is returning stuff and nobody is shopping. My family doesn't seem to mind anyway.

^ That's a GREAT idea! Maybe we'll start celebrating 3 Kings Day, instead.

I went to Kohls and Gamestop. The Monster-in-Law got a few things, and at Gamestop we encountered a man, dressed to the nines in his thickest, most expensive hunting suits, who has been waiting in front of this Gamestop for 12 hours to get his child one of the 18 Wiis they had in stock. (I got mine for Boyfriend about a month ago. I try to avoid duking it out for something like that)

    Otherwise, what a zoo.
