Yeah, I was actually wondering the same thing since I'll be working today.
Anyone know if this is going to be a good weekend?
I would guess that it'll be damn good. I can feel it in my bones... except rent is due soon...

well last night sucked. so tonight has to be better, right? here's hoping...

Also look in Club Chat, same thread.
Good luck ladies!

Last night sucked where I was...didn't seem like a Friday at allNever working the day after Turkey Day again.

Well when I left my club at 9 it was DEAD. maybe like 15 guys and nearly 70 girls. BAD!
eeeeeeeeeek! And Denver's no podunk town, either!
Sucked here earlier, I'm going back in a bit, hopefully it's better now.
I believe you Dottie and you have my support
Worst Saturday EVER! Uhhh 65 dollars!!
Pretty normal Saturday for me, above average, actually.
Check out my new eBay auctions.......

Be glad you didn't, it was HORRIBLE!!!! By far one of the worst Saturday's I've had in a long time! And it's not that it was dead, just a bunch of young, loser annoying drunk people sitting around drinking beer and staring. Not many dances, not much stage tipping, NOTHING!
I had these losers have me paged over to bar 1, they had the bartender call the floormen to ask me to come over, so I did and when I got there all they wanted was to know my first name!So I said, Amy and they said "Don't say that" so I said as I was walking away, "ok, my real name is Bob". It was that type of sh*t all night long!

Yeah, it sucked IMMENSELY. I got there at 9 and left at 12:30. It was one of the worst nights I've had in the entire year and a half that I've been dancing. Less than 100 dollars bad. Boooo!![]()
SUCKED!!!! I made $160 in Dallas

SUCKED ASS!! made half of usual saturday, and i worked my ass off for it. in Austin, TX that is.

Tonight was pretty shitty. It looked busy, but the people weren't spending.
same here. slow as a motherfucker and was like pulling teeth to make the $$ i did. (oh but it did not look busy in the slightest.) was no better than a weekday. at least there were no disrespectful ppl tonite.
p.s. i just can't tell you how happy it makes me to see posts where ppl are saying what region they worked in. how is saying "slow as hell tonite. you too?" gonna help figure out if it's just the holidays or not when op could be in kansas and poster #2 could be in miami?

^ that's what emily said too, she should be summoned to this thread since i did not work it.
Love it!
The whole week has been icky here (no t-day to blame)...I did OK, but still $100-200 less than a regular Sat. No one else broke $100 though, so I don't feel too bad..I kicked ass, relatively. Uh, this is in Vancouver![]()
Feature costumes for sale!

well maybe it's a blessing in disguise that i wasn't able to work tonight. i would have gotten so frustrated if i had a shit night :[

i'm so glad i haven't been able to work. i drove by the club fri and sat nights. the parking lot was full, but it was as likely filled with girls' cars as custies'.
i really hope things pick up soon. the economy isn't that bad at all. people are just afraid.
Didn't work but tried to go out clubbing on the town and even the regular clubs we hit up here in Columbus were all dead, dead, dead. Thanksgiving weekends, uhgg...

My club sucked ass as well! I worked Thursday and walked out with a wopping $60! I had to bail on the Friday & Saturday due to gun training, but heard it was deader than dead. Full of young guys with no money. Thursday just pissed me off so bad....there were two guys, older, who were buying a few dances here and there. I chatted them up a bit and asked them if they would like to have a fabulous time me....I got the "no thanks" and I walked away. No big deal until the fattest chick we had on last night (and she was pretty big, about 200lbs!) took BOTH of these guys back! I figured they just liked to chubby chase and blew it off and tried not to let it bruide my ego.
THIS WEEK SUCKED BEYOND ANYTHING!

arguably, the falloff in Canadian clubs is the direct result of Canadian employers releasing horrific news about poor business profits / impending layoffs as a result of the strong Loonie exchange rate elevating Canadian labor costs and sending an increasing number of Canadian consumers across the US border to spend their money instead of spending it 'at home'. With Christmas coming, and with many Canadian workers facing the prospect of poor bonuses and shaky future employment, it's not surprising that they're being tighter with their 'discretionary spending'.
Things are bad enough in eastern provinces that the gov'ts are rolling out subsidies now ...
(snip)"Quebec officials estimate some 24,400 jobs were lost in 2006 because of the fallout caused by the strong loonie. So far this year, as many as 36,700 jobs have been cut in the province."(snip)
(snip)"Currently, the province seeks out the lowest price when choosing government suppliers.
But the recent rise of the Canadian dollar has hit the province's manufacturing sector particularly hard, and has become a hot-button issue for politicians.
The government maintains new jobs created by the policy will offset the higher buying costs.
Quebec's strategy announcement on Friday is also expected to include income tax credits to help manufacturing companies adjust to the strong loonie. All the measures are to take effect immediately."(snip)
the longer term problem with subsidy programs to preserve financially uncompetitive Canadian jobs of course is that they must be paid for with higher income taxes on those Canadian workers that still have jobs, which in turn takes money out of the pockets of Canadian club customers !
