are on TV already!
I'm on sw now as Christmas with the Kranks is on TV in the other room.
Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas but isn't it a bit early?
Is it just me or do they seem to be on TV a hell of a lot earlier this year?![]()

Thanksgiving was about as early as it comes this year...maybe that's why....I'm in the mood for Bad Santa!
christmas songs started playin in the casinos last week. heard a christmas song on the radio last night...
makes me happy. christmas songs
I can't stand Christmas songs!They're cooommiinnnggggg...
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
The only Christmas movies I like are Bad Santa and A Christmas Story. I'm actually really in love with the last one and I watch it at least once every year.
A Christmas Story
Miracle on 34th Street
Its a Wonderful Life
those are the best 3 Christmas movies ever. I play them all back to back Christmas Eve...
I HAVE to watch "It's a Wonderful Life", "Elf", and part if not all of "Lord of the Rings" ( I know, not Christmasy at all, but I like a big epic movie during the holidays, and that had been when each segment was theatrically released, so . . . ) every Christmas.
Also "A Charlie Brown Christmas", and the original "Grinch", though not technically "movies". Wahoo doray, wahoo doray . . .
"Before I conceived you, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. Before you were here an hour, I would die for you. This is the miracle of life." -- Maureen Hawkins
"I just can't get over how much babies cry. I really had no idea what I was getting into. To tell you the truth, I thought it would be more like getting a cat." -- Anne Lamott
I have the Charlie Brown DVD set with Great Pumpkin, Thanksgiving and the Christmas one.... youre never too old to watch Charlie Brown!
Awww I sooo can't wait for the Grinch. Someone should name themselves Cindy Lou-Who for stripping....kidding kidding!
"What Santa Got for Christmas" Starring Amber Waves
"The First Pouring Snowfall" Starring Peter North
"Where I Hide My Presents" Starring Aurora Snow
"Home Alone" Starring Caully McCaulkin. ?
People are not ruled by their memories.
It is psychologically impossible for me to get into the X-mas spirit without watching "A Christmas Story" (On x-mas eve I turn the tv and let the 24-hr marathon play!), "Home Alone", and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". If I don't see those, I'm not in the mood for Santa.
P.S: Am I the only person who gets bitter when an upcoming holiday is all but phased out because of early celebration for another holiday? I.E putting up X-mas decor before Thanksgiving, or Putting up Thanksgiving/x-mas decor before Halloween.

I was on my way to a bachelor party in the middle of the ghetto in August and saw a house not only with XMas lights up but they were ON... hahaha... my gf and I were cracking up.
XMas decorations should not go up before Thanksgiving. Black Friday IMO is the first day the decorations should go up.
I like that Christmas movie with Chevy Chase griswold family christmas. W/e it's called. And the Grinch the cartoon version...I'm not too fond of christmas music though. Could do without it!
Charlie Brown Xmas all the way! Get to do the Snoopy dance!
And the original "How the Grinch Stole Xmas," NEVER the Jim Carrey version.
And when I go back to work I think I shall be Sunday Lou-Who.

Home Alone is one of my favorite Xmas movies. The little boy was sooo cute! He's kinda ugly now tho!
I love listening to Xmas music in the car. Guilty pleasure. Makes me think of Christmas at my grandma's when I was little. So does the smell of apple cinnamon candles.
Christmas movies tend to suck. Except for the classics, of course...![]()

A Garfield Christmas is hands down the best part of Christmas for me. My SO insists on watching the original 'Rudolph' movie every time it comes on TV. You know, the one with the kinda crappy animation.

Christmas songs, Christmas movies, even Christmas Clothes.... Um, maybe not Christmas sweaters but Christmas colored clothes.I'm a complete corn ball when it comes to Christmas. Its hard to pick just one movie since I like so many of them but I guess If I have to pick just one it would be "A Christmas Carol".
South east Florida has a ton of real life "Ebenezer Scrooges" living here.![]()

I just bought "A Christmas Story" this weekend!! I can wait to put it on and get into the holiday spirit!
