I have both of my nipples pierced at 14g with straight bars. Curved anything, from rings to curved barbells, hurt and make my nipples hurt like hell. They've been there for approaching three years. They are sufficiently healed.
But my right boob itches just outside of the nipple to one side. It was similar to the itch I would get when my piercing was healing and lymph had built up behind the bar and could not get out. (a gentle moving of skin would bring it out and problem solved) I've felt my boob up and there are no lumps, firm spots, rashes and when I would move the bar around, no fluid would come out. My piercings still produce dead skin from the fistula that collects on the bar, which I clean off in the shower. I take the bars out a couple times a week to thoroughly soap up the inside of the piercing with gentle soap. It's not a problem, just a minor annoyance.
any ideas what it might be? Or is it just itchy boob?
