When you read these club reviews remember I want you to know that not all thing about them are going to stay the same. Procedures and and people who work at clubs sometimes change frequently. Every dancer has a different experience with each club. Yes there are my thoughts and my experience but don't read too much into them that it will let you sabotage your first impression when you decide to visit the club yourselves. Please excuse retarded grammer and spelling errors for i am still editing these.
Synn ~ City of Industry 2006
I danced at this club for my first time dancing. It is full nude. The stage is high and has a water fall in the background. Lap dances and full contact and full nude or topless. When i asked about their dance rules the said the didn't want any part of the customer entering your body and visa versa, and of course no extras. There is a drink push. I believe if you get there on time there is some sort of discount toward fee maybe, i don't quite remember. nor do i know if it is the same any more. The management seemed fine and the kept things peaceful. A lot of dancers there were mixed racial and more ethnic, not as many Caucasian. Some of the dancers are really very nice and others and a lil catty. If you work here you have to schedule yourself for at least three shifts. Days are slow and nights pick up, but there were way too many dancers at nice. They should have put a limit. The best thing about this club is if you don't make money neither does the club. And you will never come out negative because the was not house fee, only cuts out of dances. But you must make sure to sell your drinks! They take it easy on newbs tho.
Strip Joint ~ Pomona 2006
This club is deceiving at first. The parking lot is hid away, and its very plain and simple outside. When i first walked in I didn't expect it to be anything really all that good, but i was pleasantly surprised. They customers are a lot of Blue collar workers, but don't let this stop u, they will spend money. Many different types of Customers It would definitely be a plus if u speak Spanish, because some customers only speak it, but this is So. Cal. But u can still make money from them without it. I don't speak a work and did quite well my first day. When you walk in the stage is on your left. The VIP room is back and to the right. The VIP is a good price. It is $75 and it lasts for 5 songs, but you're required to dance only 3 or 4 or 5 if u so wish. songs are 2 mins. Custys do purchase these more often than not. Dancer may go topless, not full nude. Dancer keeps $50, and $15 goes to the house. Lap dances are $10 a song. Those are bikini. Custys expect about medium or hard contact. Dancer keeps all. The are usually done on the seats near the VIP room. They are out in the open, yet still slightly secluded The thing i really like about the VIP and laps are that it doesn't put too much pressure on the dancers. And with those great prices peoplel wanna but them! As for the stage sets, the are 2 songs. There is a mirror on the wall and bat that goes all the way across that. fun to play on. The stage is a pretty decent size. Its elevated slightly off of the ground. The are two poles on the stage on either side. The only thing i did not particularly care for is that they are so close to the edge , but they are still usable. Dancers are allowed to come off of the stage and dance on the tip rail if they so wish. Dancers may get full nude on stage or take it off by/on the tip rail. Custys on the tip rail usually tip $1 to $5 The dressing room is rather large and there are lots of lockers. Well light. Just don't leave anything of value out. Leave it in ur car. Custys are mostly quite nice Dancers are nice The DJ's are nice The Doormen are nice The manager/owner is absolutely awesome Stage fee is $30 weekdays and $40 Fri- Sunday You choose when u wanna come in, but u still have to be on time for shifts. Leave alcohol and drugs at home. If ur caught with 'em u will be fired on the spot.
(Working day shift there i brought home at least $100-250 normally.. maybe$300 on a REALLY good day. But you really have to hustle the wetbacks.)
Fantasy Topless ~ Colton 2006
This club really does have money. And i actually made quite some money on stage. I probably would have stayed at this club for a while had my experience with the asshole owner had been different. The stage is medium size. The floor is made out of tile, and there is grout, which was kinda hard on legs when doing floor work. there is a pole in the middle of the stage. But its not the tallest pole. The dressing room is kinda small, but manageable. This is topless and they are strict about what is and isn't ok to wear. nothing see-through off stage. If you don't like asshole managers then don't go to this club. But if you don't really care, and can look past that, you can do well with earnings here. I would have given this club a much hire rating if the owner was nice, maybe and 8 or 9, but alas, he is a jerkface. This club also own barely legal which just opened up near the city of walnut. So if you work here you might be able to go back and forth. and their opinion of you can effect your ability to work at either club. make sure you do not bring or use drugs there, they look out for that.
(I sorta wish the manager kept his tap shut so i could stayed there without telling him off... it was so easy to make good money)
Angels ~ Corona 2006
I went there and got hired on the spot. The managers are nice and easy going. The stage is like a catwalk with two circles with a pole on either side. I I think on either Fri or Sat you start at the back for your first song then rotate to the back for your second. I didn't like it, but maybe people who want less time on stage might. There is a raised area that separates the area where you may be topless. While working there i made most of my money on stage. But when i was there is was the end of November so it became slow, so i left. The dressing room is actually quite large but some people smoke back there. while i was there, they had numbers where dancers sit. When dancing, you have to be clean, like not touching yourself in a sexual way. My biggest issue is that is was not pretty inside. While dancing on stage i could feel dirt and i came to a conclusion that they might not ever mop it, yuck. But most of the dancers and nice and most custys that come in are ok. Its low stage fee, very low. and they only take a very small portion from some dances. They actually sometimes changes prices and fee monthly according to how business goes. Food can be ordered and the is a normal bar attached to the strip club that does either some live band or karaoke i think.
(This place is more for making money on stage, but it didn't bring in enough for me to stay there, but that was during November, thee rest of the year might be different, but i really don't know)
Venus ~ Stanton/Anaheim/Buena Park 2006 - 2007
Its topless on stage and the lap dances are bikini. I like this place for quite a few reasons. The managers are great, they are very nice. They do not rip off dancers. The stages fee is very low. Tip out is very low. The dancers are mostly quite friendly. The stage is nice. The lap dance area is decent. Most people coming into the club are friendly, with an exception of a few normal idiots here and there. I really recommend trying this club out if you wanna dance in orange county.
(But if you want to make money in orang county.. thats a different story. I didn't make much there)
Rouge ~ L.A. 2007
I went to the one in Los Angeles, also near it sister club spearmint rhino.
So i got there at four to audition and that was easy so then i filled out paper worked and i got hired.
The Stage is oval and its in the center of the room. there are two poles on the stage, one on either side and in the center is a round Ottoman in the center. The stage has nice lighting not too much not too little. The rest of the club is mostly dark. Its decorated like most rhinos but this one has a European flair.
When i first got there is was slow and i was discouraged. But like most clubs it picked up after 9 got most busy id say around 11. There was a feature dancer so that help bring more people in. A lot of cheap asses came in, but it wasn't so bad to weed through who was and wasn't gonna spend money. There was a drink push, just 5 and the waitresses were helpful and got all of them sold. The rest of the club staff (that i met) were quite nice.
Even though there is a drink push, the club makes deals that help save dancers from being so gouged. If you sold all five drink they wouldn't take any money out of your first five dances. The DJ was always having specials for dances, which also really help out a lot with selling them. And if you get to work early you have to pay not stage fee. They manager told me that this club has started out slow, but it has been progressing with picking up. no smoking in the dressing room, it is fairly large for what i have seen. Attached to it is a decently sized bathroom with two (or three?) stalls. Two sinks and a shower. spacey in there.
There were too many dance specials which i didn't like at all, especially when there are still cuts out of the dances you sell. But this isn't a bad place. I also left coz i like working at Pleasures better.
(I left because I was too tired to drive so far at night when they took so much of the money I made.)
