    Default Now licenced to carry....

    ...a gun !

No not to the club! I just got all certified for non-resticted and restricted firearms for a new job prospect! As much as I love the EMT stuff, it just isn't that lucrative for paying the bills....hence why I still strip!

So my brother/best friend and his boss have given me a reference to their company, Securicor, for the position of Armourd Guard! I am excited as this may mean I can retire from dancing as I think it is wearing me out.

Also now that I have my gun certifications I can also apply for Police or Jail Guard. My first degree was in Law & Security, so having the added EMT stat will make me more valuable as an employee since I have more than the required first aid training.

I was just excited and thought I would share!

I am excited to start target shooting! When I start the job...or any of the firearm equipped, we'll have a .40 calibre Glock. Can't wait to feel that pup!

Right on. I'm no collector, but I do believe more women should learn to shoot guns and keep one for protection. I'm a pretty big fucking conspiracy theorist and I don't want to be left defenseless when and if any of them end up being true.

Good for you. Not easy to do in Canada as I understand it. I have a few pals who are on a police tactical team (what we would call SWAT) up there, and even they have to leave their gun at work when they go home...If you have any gun specific related questions, feel free to ask. I will answer them if I can. There are also some great gun related forums where people are very friendly and helpful, such as the High Road Forums:

100% agree! I see a lot more women at my range these days, which is great, and we have visits from the Second Amend Sisters regular, so it's all good. Any women here in the states interested in learning about guns from other women, see the web site:

Anyone in the Boston/New England area who wants free lessons, feel free to PM me. I have taken many a first shooter from the range. This is a moderator (Elissa) from my forum who came for a visit and her very first experience shooting a handgun:
