    Default Bedding

I want to upgrade my bedding, and over the last year or two, I've stuck with those Bed-In-A-Bag things just cuz they're idiot proof. But they're always crappy quality, so I'm looking to find something nice. I want it to be grown-up and kinda sexy. But not something overtly sexy like satin sheets or anything. I live with my boyfriend, so it's got to be a little unisex. Although I saw some hot pink/black stuff that I would die to have if I lived alone..
Anyways, if you see anything online that looks sexy and grown up, please let me know! I've been on Dillard's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sears, Khols, etc. But it's overwhelming. I can't get past many pages cuz they all look the same to me.

I have some really nice black sheets. Can't go wrong with black! Mine are just slightly satiny and striped/textured, made of decent-quality cotton with an okay thread count (enough so they're soft, but not so much that they cost more than my rent)... let me see if I can find a pic.

    Yes, here we go: http://www.amazon.com/Thread-Sateen-.../dp/B000KFR0FS

I think they are super. They are my favorite sheets, and I have like 4 sets. My BF thinks 4 sets of sheets is a lot, perhaps too many, but I think he is really dumb sometimes (bless his heart). But anyway, that has nothing to do with YOU and YOUR sheets. Happy sheet buying.
Drought was over. Where was I? Drinks were on the house.
For mixers, my love, you'd poured--what?--even the rain.

I am a total bed snob.
I will sacrifice a weeks worth of groceries to buy good sheets.
With that being said the best deals on some really nice sheets i've found is at stores like Tjmax, Ross, and Marshalls in their home sections. You want to look for 100% cotton (never ever percal or a blend!!!) Then you want to check out thread count, the higher the TC the softer the sheet. While you are at it, buy yourself some new pillows and a down comforter and duvet. (Make sure the Duvet follows the guide lines above) You will sleep so much better!
You deserve a good nights sleep!

agreed. I bought some beautiful 500tc sheets at the maxx for like, $40. They are sooooooooo comfy. Overstock.com also has great prices on super high thread count sheets. Seriously, start with a high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO GET OUT OF BED! And when you do go to bed at night you will go, "Ahhhhhhhhhhh"

If you get a plain down comforter you can periodically change the "look" by simply changing your duvet and shams.

Seriously, TJMaxx is the BEST for stuff like that. High end stuff at much cheaper prices.

honestly, you need to pick in person.
I <3 bed bath and beyond, they have very good quality and cute stuff w/ great prices.

they also sell beechwood sheets, they are so amazing! they're made of the pulp of a beechwood tree.

Well I was planning on hitting TJ Maxx today anyways, maybe I'll just look through their home section. Thanks everyone!

And I think black is a great idea, I really want black, with something ... I'll know it when I see it!

I used to have black, then bought some colored accent pillows to brighten it up. I liked that look.

Now I have this light tan sheet set with a suede-ish comforter on top and little throw pillows. My bed is always huge and fluffy. i luv it!

I have black sheets with colorful pillowcases (purple satin, this weird shoe print and red w/lace). I think these are the same sheets as Teethies:

BB&B is awesome. If TJMax is a wash, get one of those BB&B coupons, and check their sales aisles, as well!

I found Sears to be a great source for bedding. For colour, i have only balck and maroon, they go great together. And they last. Even through the dryer they are hanging in there.

    Overstock.com

They have GREAT deal on high thread count bedding. It's a good site for grown-up towels too!
