This is why you guys always make my day better.
Banana boobs.
I don't think it is your browsing history that Google uses, but your cookies.
My favorite browser is Firefox, because it has this neat feature under preferences/privacy, where you can check a box to clear your cache, history, and cookies every time you log off. I am a privacy freak, and I really don't want anyone to be able to track me evenif I am doing innocent things. With other browsers, you have to clear all these things by hand, one at a time. Well, except for Safari, where you have to clear them by hand, but you can do cache, history, and cookies all at once.
The problem with this is that if I don't hve the cookies, I can't log into my banks, credit union, credit card companies, etc., without registering all over again. So, I have a separate browser called Camino, and I use that ONLY for banking.

If you have a google account and use the customized google home page where your id is shown, google records your search and web page history. The default maybe for on. It's not in your cookies. Having your entire search history and pages you visited is convenient though.
Firefox 3 will have a porn mode where no history will be stored while surfing. You will have deniability because the old history will still be there.

I still wanna know what Pooka Googled.
Hehe, its funny how even innocuous stuff can totally look bad out of context.

I googled the following:
toothpicks
america's next top model
vertical clit piercing+vibrating jewelry *giggles*
nutritional information for chinese food
marlboro smooth cigarettes
third nipples
and Enrique Iglesias lyrics. (hahaha.)
Hmm..thats all I can remember...

This may be helpful...
I could not resist
