    Default Miscarriage again...=(

I was only at 7 weeks and again another miscarriage. This is my second and I had 1 chemical pregnancy. I started spotting on Thursday and it stopped
Then it started up again and I went to urgent care... and the new was not good, I got my test back and of course it is another miscarriage. I am beginning to think that I am not meant to have kids. I have to go back to confirm everything, but I know. We were trying for awhile and then I decided to go back on the pill and then I found out I was preggo. I guess it was just not meant to be.=(

Just not meant to be at least this time. I'm sorry you're sad right now.

    I'm so, so sorry.

Sometimes there's a really simple reason- my sister had a series of three miscarriages before docs figured out she just needed some sort of injections (can't remember what they were, will ask, she was just deficient in something) and she had a healthy baby a while ago.

    But mostly, my condolences

Many, MANY women go through multiple miscarriages before carrying to term. It is SO common. This is not to take away from the grief that you feel (I know *I* would be devastated), but just to reiterate that this in NO WAY means you won't have kids in the future if you want them. HUGS!

I had 2 miscarriages before I had Adrian.

Multiple miscarriages are VERY, VERY, VERY common. Most women, however, do not talk about them...so we think that we're the only ones and that there is something wrong with us when we do have multiple miscarriages.

I believe that the average is 2-3 miscarriages for every successful, full-term pregnancy you have.

Not that that makes you feel any better right now. Just know that you are not alone and it will all happen.

    Take care of yourself.

I'm sorry honey. But this in NO way means you arent supposed to have a baby. maybe you just arent meant to have one right now. Or the soul you are meant for isnt ready to come down yet. OR...maybe theres a baby being born somewhere else who is meant to be your child...

There are a lot of options...and I really do think everything happens for a reason. You'll meet your child one of these days. Dont worry about that...

You may need progestrone (sp?) shots. A lot of women do when they have multiple miscarriages. Im so sorry hun I never realized how common miscarriages were but most of them happen and the women never know theyre pregnant - they just think they had a late period. But to those who do know its hell. If you need to talk Im here.... man, what a hellish week this has been...

If you go to babycenter.com theres a section under Grief and Loss for Miscarriages. Lots of wonderful women there and you may get some ideas of things to have your OB check for when youre ready to get pregnant again.

"After ovulation, progesterone is produced by the corpus luteum ( the follicle shed by the egg ). Progesterone is critical in the sense that it is the key ingredient in helping build up the uterine lining (or endometrium) in helping the egg nourish after implantation.

If the egg is not fertilised, the uterine lining begins to break down, preparing to shed for the next menstrual cycle. If the egg was fertilised, the corpus luteum continues its mission to produce Progesterone until the placenta can resume the role on its own. If natural progesterone is inadequate after the egg has implanted safely, the uterus may begin a series of small contractions to expel the egg. This is also known as an spontaneous abortion. Progesterone is the hormone that prevents contractions as far we know to date. Having a low amount is another cause for pre-mature labour.

If you are known to have a low progesterone level after ovulation, then progesterone may be given to you. Without a sufficient progesterone level, the fertilised egg will not be able to survive on its own. This will result in the egg not implanting, but rather falling out along with your next menstrual period. This type of pregnancy is also referred to as a chemical pregnancy. You may have a positive home pregnancy test, and an unusually heavy period during a chemical pregnancy.

Your doctor will may look into your past history to determine the possibility of low progesterone in your system. The following are a few things he or she may want to know:

Do you have irregular menstrual cycles?
Do you have an unexplained history of infertility?
During the months when you were trying to conceive, did you notice your periods were suddenly later than normal? Were they heavier as well?
Have you have a previous unexplained early miscarriage?
If you were previous pregnant, did you ever experience any uterine contractions? Menstrual-type contractions?
    Any spotting?
If your doctor suspects that you have low Progesterone levels, then he or she may prescribe a twice a day vaginal suppository or a weekly Progesterone shot. If you already have a history, he or she may start you on the Progesterone therapy right away. "

Sorry for your loss, it is devastating no matter what, but everything in this life happens for a reason. After I had a miscarriage on a non-planned pregnancy of my fourth child (the three others were planned), it just made us realize how much we wanted a 4th, and now we have a beautiful toddler. Don't give up, these things happen, and soon your little angel will be in your arms, he just wasn't ready this time.

I am very very sorry for your loss. I know this must hurt terribly. My condolences to you and your husband (or is it bf? - sorry I don't recall).
There are a lot of women on this board who have experienced a loss like this so if you are ever feeling like you need to talk to someone please don't hesitate to come here. Please don't blame yourself most of all. It is a very natural and very common thing.

    Sorry for your loss.
My mom had 2 before she got pregnant with me so never give up hope.
Talk to your doctor make sure your thyroid is ok, few years ago my dr found out that my thyroid levels were all messed up and I'm taking meds for that now and he told me if I was trying to get pregnant or got pregnant while my thyroid levels were a mess I would have problems getting pregnant or lost the baby. So make sure that your levels are ok.
If you want to have kids never give up, it will happen for you.
