    Default Eyelast extentions

Okay so seeing as no matter how hard I try I can never get fake lashes on I decided to try lash extensions and OMG im in love!

I was worried they would not hold up to the wear and tear but they are doing great, They last about 4 weeks then you just use baby oil to take them off.

Anyway just had to rave as im in love!

I always heard that when you take them off alot of your natural lashes come out also. Did that happen at all to you?

i use these a lot too....i love the long, dramatic look and the fact that they are always there although i do use strip lashes as well. they only take off your natural lashes if you rip them off. if you use oil based makeup remover or baby oil though, they will just fall off desavirsire although sometimes i really have to rub in on there.

I had those once. The friend who did them moved and I just never kept them up (it's not cheap), but it was nice not to worry about putting on mascara for a few weeks. They don't mess up your natural lashes, they just fall out WITH them naturally.

I have never heard of these before and did a search but nothing came up. Where do you get these and what are they exactly?

They're basically single fake eyelashes "glued" to your normal lashes. So, instead of a strip, it's one at a time and it lasts until your lashes fall out naturally. Therefore, they need to be touched up every couple of weeks or so. If my memory is correct, it's about $3-400 to start and $50 for touch-ups.

Call up your local spa and beauty salons to find a place to do them for you.

Woah $300?! I paid $40 for mine and they're still holding on strong after 2 weeks with nightly shower shows and stuff.

There are two different kinds of eyelash extenstions. One is called extreme lashes and they do cost a few hundred but the girl doing them has also taken advanced classes on those kind of lashes. Most salons that offer the eyelash service, just use the regular lashes so it would be from around $40-$60. After graduating Aesthetics school, I know how to do the regular lash extenstions but I couldn't tell you what was so great about the extremes because I have never worked with them and the class is like $1000 to take. If you want to take the cheap route, you can go to Sally Beauty Supply or Walmart and get the individual lashes and the glue for it although it will take a lot of practice but will cost you less than $10.

You take them off with baby oil? So regular make up remover oils would take them off? I really want eyelash extentions, but idk where I'd get them in this little po-dunk town

I do heavy heavy heavy black makeup when I do the Miss Nude contests, which I have been doing for the last two weeks. To remove my eye makeup I use those dove cleansing clothes or baby wipes. You have to carefully scrub around your eyes though. Honestly they're worth it. I can't do fake lashes for the life of me plus I love the fact that I always look like my eyes have liner

    i paid 200 plus 50 for refills.

They were really nice while they lasted but upkeep was a bitch and the salon was far. Plus i wasn't exactly fond of the lady doing it.

So i said f it. When they all came off i swear my lashes were half what they were before i got them. But i had them for 6 months and maybe it was just the initial shock of going back to natural?

i got a tube of revitalash and it has totally helped bring my lashes back.

I hated that they poked my eyes every once in a while.

There are a bunch of different types. No offense, but if she got a full set for 40, they were not top quality UNLESS she got a favor!

My girlfriend got her's done at an asian salon and asked me why her eyes burned like hell in the shower. I think it was the type of glue they were using that may have been cheaper.

Either way i think you get what you pay for typically.

Actually no I do not go to cheap slave factory salons.

I got mine done at a high end salon. The girl who did them is very much qualified and she is the salon owner who prides herself in proper work. At teh same time though I had been spending a lot of money there all week with getting my nails done every other day and pedicures and all that fun stuff.

Bella - I really couldn't tell you the difference between the extreme lashes that do cost a few hundred and the regular ones. I know the extreme last longer but not much else. I've never seen the extreme myself, just heard about it through my school but there's something special about it because one would have to take special classes on them. And the classes are super expensive to take which is one of the reasons they are more expensive to have applied. http://www.xtremelashes.com

I really like the colored ones, even though I don't know how practical they'd for everyday life. This whole idea is pretty damn cool!

Okay ignore the whore makeup lol.

These are my lashes though. One did finally fall out and the buckets of icecream poured on my head and shower shows are catching up to them but still they're holding on damn good considering the wear and tear they're going through.

Ok. Must be cheaper in Canada. Slave factory salon? I wouldn't say an asian salon is a slave factory unless i am missing something?
